The day beings with a meeting and introducing with your trek and tour leader. After breakfast, we organize a short meeting at the hotel lobby. The meeting finalizes the preparation of the trek. In the meeting, you need to bring three copies of passport copy size photos, and travel insurance copy. Soon, the day tour will starts and on the tour visit most highlighted places of Kathmandu.

PASHUPATINATH TEMPLE
Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most visited and sacred places of Hindu. According to Hindu mythology, Pashupatinath is one of four Dham. It is not only a religious place also the cremation place. The dead body is burning with firewood in the bank of holy river Bagmati.
BOUDDHA STUPA
Bouddhanath Stupa is one of the biggest Buddhist shrines in the world. While touring in Buddha you can meet the monks, learn Buddhism, gather the information about Thankas, and its significants.

Pre-trip meeting and sightseeing around Kathmandu valley.

Wake up early at 1 AM and drive to Ramechhap airport for a flight to Lukla. After a short scenic flight to Lukla, we begin the trek, after meeting our local trekking staff. We reach Phakding today, located on the banks of the Dudh Koshi River.

Drive to Ramechhap and fly to Lukla (2840m) & trek to Phakding (2610m)

Following Dudh Koshi River and then a climb to reach Namche takes approximately 6 hours. We cross the river several times, encountering yaks and mules along the trail. Finally, the trail on the banks finish and we start ascending on steep gradient up, crossing the highest suspension bridge of Everest Region. We stop at Top Danda about midway up the climb and see the first sights of Everest, weather permitting. The climb is steep, so we walk with a comfortable pace. Finally we reach Namche, the biggest town in the region.

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3441m)

Today is a rest day of the trek. It is very important to take rest and acclimatize as we gain altitude. Today you will hike up to Syangboche and visit a museum that belongs to Sherpa culture, and the history records of Mt. Everest expedition by Tenzing Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary, the first ones to scale Everest. The view of Namche, Khumjung village, and the massive summits in front are stupendous from Syangboche.

Namche Bazaar acclimatization day

After breakfast at the hotel, we headed north towards Tengboche, a superb hill for photography and a Himalayan view. The monastery at Tengboche is one of the major highlights of Everest Base Camp's standard trek. To reach Tengboche we need to walk for about 6 hours today, which includes a steep uphill bit in the second half of the day. In the evening, we walk around the Tengboche monastery and visit the monastery. Enjoy the beautiful evening with spectacular views at Tengboche Hill.

After breakfast we trek down to Debuche and continue on to Pangboche, which is a major Sherpa settlement. Walking through the village, we get to see Mt. Ama Dablam towering us from the right, making a picture perfect setting for the village to be in. In fact, the mountain will be at a stone’s throw away from us as we walk. On undulating trails we cross a river and make a short climb up to Dingboche valley.

Trek to Dingboche (4350m)

From Dingboche to Chhukung is about two and half an hours walking in slightly uphill at the altitude of 4710m. It’s quite important to adjust to high altitude in order to climb up Island Peak. When you reach Chhukung, the trek guide will introduce you with the climbing guide.

Trek to Chhukung (4710m)

Today you will trek to Island Peak Base camp. From today accommodation will be in tented camps for the next two days. Foods will be prepared by professional camping cook. After lunch your climbing guide will give you some lectures about using the climbing equipment and technical parts of climbing for next day.

Trek to Island Peak base camp (5240m)

This is a day for adjusting to thin air by doing a short trek to the high camp and explore the Imja lake. Which helps to climb the peak for tomorrow morning. You will get short technical climbing training by your climbing guide. Such as how to use climbing gears, etc.

Acclimatization day.

Finally, we reached the main climb day, also the highlight of this trip: climbing Island Peak. Firstly, the guide will check the weather conditions and per-meeting to start. After leaving the base camp, today is your main adventure day. (weather permitting) you will start early in the morning for the climb up Island Peak (6189m). After High camp, trail ascends through a gorge to the right, after a safe trip to the top, you make your way back down to base camp and same day back to Chhukung.

We descend down towards Tengboche via Dingboche, Pangboche and Debuche, which takes about six hours. After breakfast, you will descend towards Dingboche valley, cross the Khumbu Khola and reach Pangboche via Orsho and Somare. You will have your lunch at Pangboche and head off to Tengboche through rhododendron forests.

After breakfast again watch 360 degrees Himalaya view from Tengboche and trek down to Phungi Thanga and cross a stream. After about 1.5hrs of the steep climb up to Kayanjuma, have a short break. Again continue almost flat to reach Namche where you can enjoy and celebrate success of the trip.

After trekking for 10 days in the region, we make our way to Lukla which will be our final stop in Solukhumbu region. For lunch, we stop at Phakding, a village that lies on the banks of Dudhkoshi River.

Farewell Dinner

This morning you will flight out from Lukla to Kathmandu, and upon arrival your guide transfers you to the hotel. A good rest after a long trek will be crucial. In the evening, you have leisure time to stroll around Thamel and do any souvenir shopping if you like. In the evening join the Farewell Dinner in a Nepali Restaurant.

We cross Kari La pass, after which the trail goes along mountainsides through the Khari Khola valley and reach Pangkongma.

Early morning, 1 AM,  get up and drive to Ramechhap. The guide will meet you and take you to the airport to fly to Lukla. It is about 5 hrs drive from Kathmandu Ramechhap. The 35-minute scenic flight takes you to Tenzing-Hillary airport. Upon your arrival, the guide will introduce the porters/staff of your trekking and head to Chutanga, which takes three hours to walk from Lukla.

Morning: Begin your trek early, leaving your previous night’s camp. The trail gradually ascends, offering stunning views of the surrounding peaks and glaciers. Ensure you’re well-hydrated and take regular breaks to acclimatize to the increasing altitude.



Afternoon: Arrive at Thangnak, a serene spot surrounded by towering peaks. After lunch, explore the area, which serves as a great acclimatization opportunity.

Evening: Overnight at a lodge in Thangnak. Enjoy the camaraderie of fellow trekkers and share experiences over dinner.

Morning: After breakfast, set off towards Khare, the trek becoming more challenging as you navigate through moraines and rocky paths. The stunning landscapes provide a perfect backdrop for introspection and appreciation of the high Himalayas.

Afternoon: Reach Khare by early afternoon. This settlement offers basic amenities for trekkers gearing up for the climb ahead.

Evening: Rest and prepare your gear for the upcoming acclimatization day. Overnight in Khare

Trek to Khare (5000m)

Daytime: Use this day for acclimatization. Engage in short hikes around Khare to adjust to the altitude. Your guides may provide valuable climbing techniques and safety briefings for the ascent.

Evening: Early to bed for the next day’s challenging trek to Mera High Camp.

Morning to Afternoon: Begin the trek to Mera High Camp. This part of the journey involves navigating through crevassed glaciers, requiring the use of ropes, crampons, and ice axes. The climb is strenuous but rewarding, with panoramic views of the Himalayan vista.

Evening: Set up camp at Mera High Camp. Prepare your equipment and mindset for the early morning summit attempt. Rest early, as the next day starts well before dawn.
Day 10
Summit to Mera peak (6470meters) and then return to Khare (4900meters)

Pre-Dawn: Start your ascent to the summit of Mera Peak. It’s a challenging climb, but the sunrise views from the summit are unparalleled. After celebrating your achievement and taking photographs, begin your descent.

Midday: Return to High Camp, collect your belongings, and continue down to Khare. It’s a long and tiring day, but the sense of accomplishment is immense.

Evening: Back in Khare, rest and recover from the day’s exertions. Overnight in Khare.

Trek to Mera high camp (5780m).

Daytime: This spare day is a buffer in case of bad weather preventing your summit attempt. If unused, it’s an opportunity for further exploration or rest in Khare.

Morning to Afternoon: Begin your descent to Khote, retracing your steps through the stunning landscapes that have become familiar. The descent is considerably faster than the ascent, allowing for reflection on your recent accomplishments.

Evening: Arrive in Khote and spend the night in a local lodge. Enjoy the warmer climate and a well-deserved rest.

Morning to Afternoon: Continue your descent to Thuli Kharka. The path takes you through rhododendron forests and offers a last glimpse of the high mountains behind you.

Evening: Reach Thuli Kharka and prepare for the final leg of your journey back to civilization. Overnight in Thuli Kharka, celebrating the successful completion of your trek.
Day 14
Trek to Lukla (2840 meters)

Finally reach Lukla, from where the expedition was started. In the evening we celebrate successful climb of Mera Peak, definitely an adventure of a lifetime.

Trek to Thuli Kharka(4200 m)

This morning you will fly out from Lukla to Kathmandu, and upon arrival, your guide will transfer you to the hotel. A good rest after a long trek will be crucial. In the evening, you have leisure time to stroll around Thamel and do any souvenir shopping if you like. In the evening you will be served a farewell dinner in a typical Nepali Restaurant with Nepali folk music and dance. It is also the time to review the trip with your guide

Classic Everest Base Camp Trek

Arrival at Kathmandu

The day beings with a meeting and introducing with your trek and tour leader. After breakfast, we organize a short meeting at the hotel lobby. The meeting finalizes the preparation of the trek. In the meeting, you need to bring three copies of passport copy size photos, and travel insurance copy. Soon, the day tour will starts and on the tour visit most highlighted places of Kathmandu.

This is quite an exciting day for trekkers because, after breakfast, we reach the bus station for a drive to the scenic lakeside city of Pokhara. The drive is about 7 hours and goes through the scenic countryside of central Nepal. We stop for lunch at Gunadi at around 11:30 am and reach Pokhara in another 2 hours. Pokhara is a holiday city and looking at the lakes, hills, and mountains, it is no wonder why it is so well known. A wide panorama of the Annapurna range is clearly visible from the city, most notably Machhapuchare (Fishtail mountain) that prominently overlooks Pokhara. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Lamjung Himal, and Manaslu also tower above.

Drive to Pokhara (900m) by tourist bus -7 hrs

After 1.5 hour drive from Pokhara, you reach Nayapul then short trek through the bank of the river of Modi Khola to get to Birethanti, a large village with teahouses and shops. When you reach Ramghai, we stop for lunch. After lunch, the trails continue to the north along the banks of Bhurungdi Khola. Then steadily up the trails we head to the north to reach Tikhehdunga, at an altitude of 1570m. We stop here for the day and check into a guesthouse.

Drive to Nayapul (1,010m) - 1.5 hrs and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1,570m)

After a steep climb to Ulleri at the start of the day, the most difficult part of the trek will be behind us. Ulleri is a large village of Magar ethnic group that lies at an altitude of 2070m. Now the walking path gradually ascends from the point to Banthanti through the oaks and rhododendrons forest. Banthati is a place for lunch where you reach in 3.5 hrs from Tikhedhunga. Trail heads up to Ghorepani (2840m) via Nangethanti (2460).

Get up early in the morning to hike up to Poon Hill (3210m). The stunning sunrise view over the mountains is really worth all the effort and waking up early. After spending about an hour on the hill, we head to Tadapani. The first climb takes us to Deurali, which boasts amazing view of Ghorepani against a backdrop of Dhaulagiri and Annapurna, we start heading down to Tadapani, with some uphills and downhills along the way through dense forests.

Hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m); and trek to Tadapani (2,610m)

We walk further down from Tadapani through rhododendron forests to reach the Gurung village of Chhomrong at an elevation of 2,170m and set along the slope of a giant hill. We will stop here for lunch, after which we go down to Chhomrong Khola and make a small ascent to Sinuwa (2340m).

Trek to Sinwa (2340m)

Today you will slightly climb through the rhododendron village via Kuldi Ghar (2470m). Now the trek enters Upper Modi Valley from where you can see Bamboo and Dovan below. Beyond the Dovan the trail crosses a stream then climbs up across the landslide. The climb passes a temple decorated with Shiva Trident and flowers. From there in twenty minutes later you will reach deep gorge at Himalayan Hotel.

Trek to Himalaya (2840m)

The day begins with a climb through the forest of bamboo and rhododendron forests to Hinko Cave. We eventually reach Machapuchare Base camp, which is a stop before Annapurna Base Camp. At this point you will already be surrounded by mountains on all sides. Two hours walking from the Machhapuchhre base camp, we will reach ABC, where we encounter with even more dramatic panoramic mountain views.

Trek to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130m)

We wake up early in the morning to stargaze and watch the sun rise over the mountains. It will be quite a vista to savour and definitely a highlight of the trek. We have breakfast at the guesthouse looking at the mountains and then start walking to Bamboo on descending trails. The tiny hamlet is located on the banks of Modi Khola at 1,700m.

Trek back to Bamboo (2345m)

The trail heads down to Jhinu, a natural hot spring. To get the Jhinu you follow the same trail to Chhomrong, then on to Shinwa until you reach a sheep farm through bamboo and rhododendrons forest. Once you reach the hot springs, take a dip and let your muscles and mind relax.

Once we have our breakfast in Jhinu, we start walking on the banks of Modi Khola and finally reach Nayapul through Birethanti. We drive to Pokhara city where we can relax for the evening.

After a long trip in the mountains, we will be off on a relaxing tour covering religious, historical places in Pokhara. The day tour begins after our breakfast. During the tour, you will visit Phewa Lake, Barahi Temple, Devis fall, Gupteshwor Cave, Museums and Tibetan refugee camp.

We drive back to Kathmandu on a tourist bus. The drive takes about 7 hours on a scenic route. In the evening, there will be farewell dinner in a traditional Nepali restaurant with folk music and dance performance.

Hike up to Nangkartshang Peak (5090m).

Today is the second rest and acclimatization day of this trek. After morning breakfast, we will walk around Dingboche. We hike up to Nangkartshang Peak (5090). It is an ideal for acclimatization. After returning from the day hike, we rest at the guesthouse and prepare for next day. Enjoy a hearty dinner in Dingboche.

Day 07 Second Acclimatization day in Dingboche.

After breakfast in Dingboche, the journey to Lobuche begins. We pass Thukla Pass, which is also called Memorial Pass, as it has quite a few small stone memories and prayer flags to commemorate the loved ones who perished in Everest region. The trail today is easier than in previous days as it is on grassland. The view of Himalayas, Khumbu Valley, Cholatse Glacier Lakes, Thukla Pass and so froth make the walk really enjoyable. Once we reach Lobuche, we have lunch and take some rest, after which we walk up to the Khumbu glacier on the edge of Lobuche.

Day 08 Trek to Lobuche (4,910m)

Today we walk to the main destination of the trek – Everest Base Camp. The rocky walk by the Khumbu glacier is quite rough and precarious on some bits, so do be careful. The first village we reach is Gorakshep where we have our lunch and continue to Everest Base Camp. On the way to Base Camp it is important to bring some snacks and water. Explore the Base Camp and return to the guesthouse which is about 5 hours up and down.

Day 09 Trek to Gorakshep (5170 m), continue to EBC (5,365 m), then back to Gorak Shep (5170 m)

This is also a challenging day. Early morning we hike up the Kalapathar to catch the sunrise. As we climb up the mountains come to an eye level. We get a panoramic view of the Khumbu mountains from the top. This is also the highest point of the trek, from where we can see Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lhotse and many others peaks. You make an easy descent to Gorakshep and have breakfast before trekking down to Pheriche, a tiny hamlet at the base of Taboche mountain.

Day 10 Hike up to Kalapattar (5,555m) early in the morning and trek down to Periche (4,270m)

Our journey to Namche from Pheriche starts after breakfast. You will cross the village Pangboche and Imja Khola. A small climb up takes us to Tengboche, a hill station where sits the biggest monastery of the region. It is the only monastery that can be seen from the summit of Everest. After exploring the monastery trek down to Phungi Thanga and climb up to Sanasa. Finally on gradual ups we reach Namche Bazaar.

Day 11 Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441m)

Day 12 Trek down to Lukla (2,840m)

This morning, you will fly out from Lukla to Ramechhap and drive to Kathmandu. It is about 4-5 hours ' drive from Kathmandu. In the evening, you have leisure time to stroll around Thamel and do any souvenir shopping if you like.
