Leave Nairobi at 8 am for Nanyuki town. Proceed to Sirimon Gate where you will have lunch and begin our trek. From the gate follow the track as it winds uphill though the forest which later becomes heath land upto Old Moses camp 3300m asl.

Day 1: Nairobi – Sirimon Gate – Old Moses camp

Hiking Distance: 16kms
Duration: 6Hrs
After breakfast, follow the track uphill, forking left at the junction. After one hour from Old Moses Camp, the track crosses Ontulili River. Go right contouring through the Moorland and crossing Likii North and continue uphill to Mackinder’s Valley from where there are panoramic views up the valley towards the main peaks. Dinner and overnight at Shipton Camp 4200m asl.

Day 2: Sirimon Gate – Old Moses camp

Hiking Distance: 24Kms
Duration: 10Hrs
Leave at 2am up a steep stony quarry that cuts through a cliff clearing visible part towards lower Hall Tarns arriving point Lenana(4985 M asl) at 6:30am, taking about 3hrs. After the sunrise, descend down to Shipton Camp for breakfast and later proceed down to Old Moses Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Shipton camp – Point Lenana – Old Moses camp

Hiking Distance: 8Kms
Duration: 1.5Hrs
After breakfast, walk down through the rainforest for 2 hours to Sirimon gate where we will board a private vehicle for transfer to Nairobi town. The vehicle can as well pick you up at the camp upon request.

Day 4: Old Moses camp – Sirimon Gate – Nairobi

Distance: 16 Kms

one hour from Old Moses Camp, the track crosses Ontulili River. Go right contouring through the 
Moorland and crossing Likii North valley and continue uphill to Mackinders Valley from where there

Old Moses Camp - Shiptons Camp (4200M asl)

Hiking Time: 10 Hrs
Distance: 24 Kms

lower Hall Tarns arriving point Lenana(4985 M asl) at 6:30am, taking about 3hrs. After the sunrise, 
descend down to Shiptons Camp for breakfast and later proceed down to Old Moses camp for 
lunch. Upon finishing your lunch you will board your private vehicle for transfer back to your hotel 
in Nairobi.
