Pre-trip/Day Zero

Meet at the trail head. 
Training session: Snow shoeing efficiency and packing
Snowshoe to Base Camp by Blue Lake
Afternoon Training session: Introduction to Expedition camping, set up camp.

Day 1

Basic Mountaineering Skills Training Day OR Summit Climb to Kozi (weather dependednt)
- Crampon technique
- Ice axe use and self arrest
- Climbing efficiency and moving in the mountains
- Fixed line ascension
- Rapelling
- Snow anchors and running protection
- Glacier travel
- Knots and hitches
- Ice climbing at Blue Lake (condition dependent)

If weather more favourable today, make summit bid on snowshoes to the top of Australia and return to Camp

Day 2

Day 3

Final morning of training (covering off more of curriculum) 
Break down camp and snowshoe return to trail head (approx 4-5pm)
