After our breakfast, we descend back to Pakhding and follow the Dudh Kosi River until ascending back to Lukla where we stay for the night.

Welcome to the Land of adventure- the capital of Nepal, Kathmandu. One of our company representatives will greet you outside the international airport to pick up you. You will be transferred in a private vehicle to the respective hotel. If you arrive in the daytime, you can explore the narrow street of Thamel. The company representative will meet you for your trip details explanation.

Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400 m)

Today your tour guide will meet you at your hotel and take you to the midst of Kathmandu Valley where you are going to explore the medieval period historical cultural and religious sites; Swayambhunath is also known as 'Money Temple', Kathmandu Durbar Square, Boudhanath, and the Hindu famous site- Pashupatinath. All this trip you are going to do in a private vehicle with your English-speaking tour guide where you don't need to pay any entrance fees of the monuments and the UNESCO World Heritage sites. Enjoy your day tour will fullness. Explore the local market and the Newari culture and the people over there. If you are a food lover, you can ask one of the best Newari food restaurants to your tour guide. Your tour guide will assist you.

Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing

We have an early flight from Kathmandu towards Lukla, it is said to be one of the most beautiful flights in the world with views that will give you memories for a lifetime. After arriving in Lukla we start this short trek towards Phakding. After the police check post, we descend towards the Dudh Khosi River and continue further downwards until reaching the village of Phakding our overnight stay of the day.

Fly to Lukla (2,840m) from Kathmandu and trek to Phakding (2,610m)

After breakfast continues towards Namche Bazaar, the biggest town in the Everest region. Our trail follows the Khumbu Khola (river) and we cross it many times until Jangbu from where we start to ascend. Beautiful valley landscape views await us. After a half-day ascending the trail becomes steeper until reaching the town of Namche Bazaar. Before reaching the town we can stop at Everest View Point from where we can have our first look at the mighty mountain. Overnight stay at Namche Bazaar.

Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,441m)

Today we are spending one more day acclimatized ourselves. On this day, we are going to ascend higher points of Namche Bazaar hike up to Everest View Hotel and the outskirts of Namche. Explore the biggest hill-town of the Everest region. Namche is one of the biggest human settlements in the Everest region. After onwards, the human inhabitant is fewer as we head to the higher elevation. Enjoy your today hiking.

Explore Namche Bazaar: acclimatization day

An early rise and we start our trek towards the Tengboche Monastery. The trail becomes steeper and the path becomes harder. Crossing various suspension bridges, passing through forest trails that come out in incredible views of the Himalayas, and passing sacred Buddhist Stupas the path climbs up more and more until reaching the Tengboche Monastery. The monastery is beautifully decorated and praying bells await you on the outside. A beautiful spot for Everest viewing. For our overnight stay, we will lodge in Tengboche.

Trek to the Tengboche Monastery (3,860m)

We start our trek back towards the big town of Namche Bazaar. The trail all too familiar becomes more pleasant as it is all downhill from here. Retracing our steps until reaching Namche Bazaar for our overnight stay.

Descend back to Namche Bazaar (3,441m)

On your arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative of Bold Himalayan will greet you and will drop you off at our hotel. Freshen up and take a rest and in the evening after the trek preparation, a welcome dinner will be hosted by Bold Himalaya. Overnight at Kathmandu.

Day-1 Arrival in Kathmandu

In the morning, after breakfast at the hotel, you'll be transferred to the domestic airport for a 35-minute flight to Lukla, enjoying stunning mountain views. Upon arrival, meet your crew and begin trekking towards Phakding. The trail winds through Sherpa villages like Chaurikharka and Chheplung, offering glimpses of traditional architecture and friendly locals. Crossing suspension bridges over the Dudh Koshi River, including the iconic Hillary Bridge, adds excitement. After entering Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo and trekking for 3-4 hours, reach peaceful Phakding by the Dudh Koshi River. Relax in comfortable teahouses, lulled by the river's soothing sounds, ready for the journey ahead.

Day-2 Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding

Leaving Phakding, follow the Dudh Koshi River, crossing suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. Pass through picturesque villages like Toktok and Benkar, surrounded by terraced fields and stone houses. Enjoy views of waterfalls, rhododendron forests, and distant peaks. After reaching Jorsalle for permit checks, continue to Monjo, a lively Sherpa town with lodges. The ascent to Namche Bazaar offers spectacular vistas of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. After hours of climbing, arrive at Namche Bazaar, the bustling heart of the Khumbu region.

Day-3 Phakding to Namche Bazaar

To acclimatize to the altitude, we'll spend an extra day in Namche Bazaar and explore nearby Sherpa villages. You can hike from Namche to Khumjung village, where highlights include the Khumjung Hillary School and Khumjung Gompa. Another option is trekking to Hotel Everest View above Namche, offering breathtaking vistas of Tawache, Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest, Khumbu Himal, and more. Alternatively, visit the Syanboche airstrip, the world's highest airport at 3,780m/12,401ft, before returning to Namche Bazaar for the night.

Day-4 Namche Bazaar: acclimatization

From Tengboche, the trail descends gently through rhododendron and conifer forests with stunning mountain views. You'll follow the tranquil Imja Khola River to Pangboche, a picturesque village known for its traditional stone houses and monasteries. Continuing upward, you'll pass through Somare's terraced fields before reaching Dingboche, at 4,360 meters. This village offers charming lodges and serves as a vital acclimatization stop before continuing your trek.

Day-5 Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

After breakfast head toward Dingboche. Today’s trek begins with a descent through a beautiful forest along with the Imja Khola valley. After Debuche, the trail becomes very pleasant. We cross the iron bridge on the right side and get a great view of Ama Dablam (6,814m). Then the trail gradually makes its way to Pangboche village.
From Pangboche, the trail continues the summer pastures on to Dingboche. Reaching Dingboche you find the tree line disappears and the landscapes turn barren and stony. Overnight stay at Dingboche.

Day-6 Tengboche to Dingboche

Another acclimatization day at Dingboche, as you are at an altitude of above 4000 meters. Today, to get your body into a comfortable zone with the thinner air we will take an acclimatization hike to the surrounding hills. This village is beautiful with an array of fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley, buckwheat, and potatoes from the cold wind. For acclimatization, you can either hike up to Chhukung or Nangkar Tshang Peak.
Hiking up to Chhukung (4,750m/15,583ft) is an easy day hike that offers magnificent views of Mt. Makalu (8,463m/27,765ft), Island Peak (6,160m/20,209ft), Peak 38 and several other Himalayan peaks.
Whereas, Nangkar Tshang Peak (5,083m/16,676ft) hiking offers magnificent views of Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Thamserku and Mt. Kangtega. Overnight stay at Dingboche.

Day-7 Dingboche: acclimatization

Leaving Dingboche, the trail ascends through increasingly rugged terrain with views of Ama Dablam and Thamserku. Passing through Dusa and Dughla, where a memorial to Everest climbers stands, you'll trek to the Khumbu Glacier's moraine. Arriving in Lobuche at 4,940 meters, enjoy hospitality at local lodges and teahouses amidst breathtaking high-altitude scenery.

Day-8 Dingboche to Lobuche

From Lobuche, the trail to Gorak Shep starts with a gentle ascent over the rocky Khumbu Glacier moraine, offering surreal glacial vistas. As you near Gorak Shep at 5,164 meters, teahouses provide a brief respite before the challenging trek to Everest Base Camp. Crossing the glacier involves navigating rocky paths and glacial streams marked by prayer flags and cairns. Finally, at 5,364 meters, you reach Everest Base Camp, surrounded by towering peaks and vibrant mountaineering tents. After soaking in the achievement, return to Gorak Shep to savor the accomplishment and stunning landscapes.

Day-9 Lobuche to Gorak Shep, visit Everest Base Camp

Early morning, hike to Kalapatthar for stunning sunrise views of Mt. Everest and surrounding peaks like Pumori, Nuptse, and Changtse. Enjoy a 360-degree panorama of the Everest region. Afterward, descend to Gorakshep for breakfast, then take a helicopter ride to Lukla, marveling at aerial views of the landscape. Overnight in Lukla, concluding the trek with a memorable flight experience.

Day-10 Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar, back to Gorak Shep, fly to Lukla by Helicopter

From Lukla, we will catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu after breakfast. We will take one last close look at the mountains. And finally another thrilling about 35 minutes’ flight we arrive in Kathmandu. On reaching Kathmandu, we will transfer you to your hotel. You can take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. You can also explore nearby areas of Kathmandu Valley. And there will be a cultural dinner program with the members of Bold Himalaya. Overnight in Kathmandu hotel.

Day-11 Fly to Kathmandu

Today is the departing day. A representative from Bold Himalayas will drop you at the airport 3 hours before your departing time. You can join us for another thrilling adventure or trip with Bold Himalaya. We can right away arrange your awesome trip.

We will pick you up at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to a hotel in Kathmandu. This day does not involve any pre-planned trips so, you can explore the city on your own.

Arrive in Kathmandu (1300m)

Today, we will go sightseeing around Kathmandu valley. We will visit some pilgrimage sites like the Hindu temple of Pashupatinath and beautiful stupas like Boudhanath and Swayambhunath. We will also visit other world heritage sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square. These sites are also enlisted as UNESCO world heritage sites and reflect the ancient culture and traditions. After sightseeing, there is a pre-trip meeting in the hotel.

Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing and trek preparation

Today, we will enjoy a scenic flight to Lukla with a stunning view of various beautiful mountain ranges. We then trek to Phakding alongside the Dudh Koshi River through beautiful valleys and forest filled with rhododendron and pines. 

We gradually descend to Phakding through Chheplung village and Dudh Koshi with a stunning view of Mt. Khumbila (5761m), Mt. Nupla (5885m), etc. in the background.

Fly to Lukla (2840m.) trek to Phakding (2610m) 3 hours

We continue our trek from Phakding alongside the Dudh Koshi River through the alpine forest. Crossing some suspension, we will reach Monjo, the entrance gate to Sagarmatha National Park. From here, the trail goes steeply up along the banks to the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhotekoshi Rivers. 

Continuing through waterfalls, stupas, and prayer stones, we head towards Namche Bazar. This beautiful Sherpa village offers a stunning view of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Thamserku (6608m), etc.

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) 6 hours

Today, instead of trekking, we will spend the day exploring Namche Bazaar. We will visit the local monasteries and also observe the Sherpa culture here. We can hike up to Everest View Hotel to witness the views of Mt. Everest (8848m) and many other gorgeous mountain ranges. The villages of Khumjung and Khunde are also excellent to experience the Sherpa culture.

Explore day and acclimatization day at Namche bazaar (3440m)

After an early morning breakfast, we will begin our trek to Tengboche. The path to Tengboche goes steeply up through small Sherpa settlements, some small stupas, and beautiful rhododendron and pine forest. 

Tengboche houses one of the largest monasteries in the Khumbu region, Tengboche Monastery, and offers a spectacular close-up view of Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8414m), Ama-Dablam (6856m), and Nuptse (7816m).

Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3860m) 5 hours

Today, we will get up early to view the sunrise over gorgeous mountains including Mt. Everest (8848m). After relishing the views, we join the trail back to Monjo. We will descend through beautiful rhododendron and pine forest with a stunning mountainous view in the background. We will pass by Namche Bazaar and various other small villages and descend alongside the bank of the Dudh Koshi River.

Trek from Tengboche to Monjo (2835m) 5 hours

Today is the final day of our trek. We will retrace our path back to Lukla through the beautiful forests and stunning waterfalls. Trekking through lovely small villages like Phakding and Chheplung, we walk along the Bhote Koshi River. Along the way, we will witness some stupas decorated with prayer flags.

Trek from Monjo to Lukla (2840m) 4 hours

Today, we will enjoy a scenic flight back to Kathmandu. The flight will offer views of the Himalayas in Everest, Langtang, and Gaurishankar Himalayan ranges as well. In Kathmandu, we can visit some of the famous destinations which are enlisted in the UNESCO world heritage sites. You can also choose to rest in the hotel after an exhausting trek.

Fly back to Kathmandu. Overnight at hotel

Today we will spend the day visiting different places in Kathmandu valley like Godavari, Chobhar, Sundarijal, or Budhanilkantha. We can also go hiking near Kathmandu valley. After a fun day in Kathmandu, we will enjoy a delicious tradition Nepali farewell dinner (dal bhat) before parting ways. Meanwhile, do not forget to shop for gifts and souvenirs.
