Early in the morning after having a breakfast at Nairobi hotel you will be picked up by a driver and drive you toward masai mara, where a visitor will enjoy a beautiful wildlife found at the area, masai mara is the home and heart of wildlife especial wildebeest migration most of wildebeest are passes for search a water and food and is the most park which surrounded with different species of wild animals that includes rhino, leopard, zebra, lions, giraffe and many other species found at the park.

DAY 1: NAIROBI- MASAI MARA

After breakfast, follow the track uphill, forking left at the junction to Likii North and Shipton. After 
one hour from Old Moses Camp, the track crosses Ontulili River. Go right contouring through the 
Moorland and crossing Likii North valley and continue uphill to Mackinders Valley from where there 
are panoramic views up the valley towards the main peaks. Dinner and overnight at Shipton Camp 
4200m asl.

Leave the camp at 3am up a steep stony quarry that cuts through a cliff clearing visible part towards 
lower Hall Tarns arriving point Lenana(4985 M asl) at 6:30am, taking about 3hrs. After the sunrise, 
descend down to Shiptons Camp for breakfast and later proceed down to Old Moses camp for 
lunch. Upon finishing your lunch you will board your private vehicle for transfer back to your hotel 
in Nairobi.

Day 4: Old Moses camp – Sirimon Gate – Nairobi

After early morning breakfast, descend for 3 hours to the Sirimon Park  gate to catch a vehicle for transfer to Nairobi arriving late afternoon.

Day 05: Old Moses camp – Nairobi- 2 hrs.

Depart from Nairobi at 0800hrs, driving through agricultural country up to Chogoria town for lunch. After lunch, we take 4×4 and drive up to the edge of the bamboo forest where we start our trekking through the dense bamboo forest for a distance of 10 km to the Mt Kenya Bandas. Dinner and overnight at the Meru Mount Kenya Bandas.

Day 01: Nairobi- Mt Kenya Bandas (2,900m) 3hrs, 10km walk, 650m ascent.

After breakfast and sorting of porter loads we set off up the mountain at a nice and easy pace . A slightly longer walk via Lake Ellis gives scenic views of Mugi, Ithanguni and the Giants Billiards Table, whilst if we follow the river near road head, upstream for about 3 km, the foreground scenery and flora is particularly beautiful. Lunch on the banks of a stream, then it’s time to cut up the left hand hillside to our camp at about 3,600m, well away from any of the more “touristy” areas.

Day 02: Mt Kenya Bandas – Lake Ellis Campsite ( 3,600m) 3hrs, 9km, 700m ascent.

Similar early start.  Again well off the beaten track to follow a ridge up the mountain for about 3 hours to eventually join the tourist track on the normal Chogoria route at an altitude of about 4,100m. Breath taking views over the Gorges Valley and back over towards Ithanguni and the Northern Moorlands. Lunch is served at a small stream crossing, before continuing for a further hour to the Mintos Hut area at 4200m and our night’s rest. Afternoon is spent relaxing at camp, though a 10 minute walk to the “Temple” is well worth the effort.  This is a 150 meters vertical cliff that gets its name from the position visitors often adopt when peering over the edge – they look as if they are praying. An early night is recommended as you are attempting the summit next day.

Day 03: Lake Ellis – Minto`s Camp. ( 4,200m) 4 hrs, 12km, 600m ascent.

Predawn attempt of the summit starts at 0300hrs and you hike for about three hours up to Point Lenana (4985m), the hiker’s summit, arriving there in time to watch the African sunrise. Descend to Shipton camp for breakfast. After breakfast, begin a 5 hour descent via Mackinder`s valley to the Old Moses camp (3,300m). The descent is gentle and it offers ample time to enjoy fascinating scenery which includes the moorlands before reaching  the camp. Dinner and overnight at Old Moses camp.

Day 04: Minto`s – Pt Lenana ( 4,985m)- Old Moses camp. 11-12 hrs, 785 ascent, 1,685 descent, 24km,

5 days Mt Kenya trekking

Nairobi; Upon arrival at JKIA airport you will be met by our staff and transferred to Fair View hotel for check in and the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight Fairview hotel on bed and breakfast basis

Day 1 JKIA TO FAIR VIEW HOTEL

Early morning game drive game drive in the reserve returning back to your camp for breakfast. After breakfast Full day spends in the park with packed lunch in search of its popular residents like the well-known predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo and the dangerous Crocodiles with a visit to Mara river. In the late afternoon on your way back to the camp, A visit to a Masai village and a school at a No Extra Cost. In the evening spend a few hours enjoying the lodges’ recreational facilities such as the swimming pool or you may take a walk with the resident lodge naturalist. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge

Day 2 Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve;

Leaving the Masai Mara after breakfast, you’ll travel across the ‘breadbasket’ of Kenya, where acres of wheat and barley litter the landscape as you head north to Narok, the district headquarters of this part of Maasailand. Now travel across the vast plains on the floor of the Rift Valley, keeping an eye out for herds of giraffe and gazelle as you head up the Mau Escarpment, before arriving at Lake Nakuru. The waters here are often colored shimmering flamingo pink, from thousands of the beautiful birds lining its shores. After lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, depart for an afternoon game drive in Nakuru National Park before continuing to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge on a full board basis

Day 3 Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru;

In and around Amboseli National Park

 After an early breakfast, you will depart with a picnic lunch leaving the Rift Valley behind, you continue towards Nairobi and then head south towards OlTukai Lodge. Then proceed with afternoon game drive in the park en route to the Amboseli arriving in the evening. Overnight at Kibo Safari Camp on a full board basis

Day 4 Lake Nakuru – Amboseli National Park;

Full day in the Park. Amboseli National Park is situated near the border of Kenya and Tanzania in the south-east region of Kenya about 250 km from Nairobi. Magnificent views of snow-capped Kilimanjaro are dominant. The best time to see it, however, is early morning or just at sunset. This is Africa’s highest mountain – some call it “the rooftop of Africa”. Game drives with all meals and overnight at Kibo Safari Camp on a full board basis.

Day 5 Amboseli

Following an early breakfast, you’ll catch your last views of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro as you depart Amboseli viewing game en route to the border of the park. From here turn west to the colorful border town of Namanga, where you will find some unique Maasai beadwork. Then turn north along a good tarmac road across the beautiful and seemingly never-ending Athi Plains, arriving in Kenya’s bustling capital city of Nairobi by mid-day. Alternatively, you can be dropped at either Tarakea/Namanga Border post for a Tanzania safari extension.

Day 6 Amboseli National Park – Nairobi
