Experience the sacred mountain of the Maasai people with an ascent of Ol Doinyo Lengai, also known as "The Mountain of God".
Located in northern Tanzania, this active volcano offers stunning views into its caldera and of the surrounding area, including the hot salt flats of Lake Natron and the Ngorongoro Game Reserve.
While the ascent is demanding due to steep slopes and daytime heat, the journey is worth it. You can walk across the crater floor and make an early descent from the summit in the morning shadow. To prepare for your ascent, bring a short and warm jacket and long trousers for the cold at the summit before dawn.
Don't miss this opportunity to experience the natural wonder and spiritual significance of Ol Doinyo Lengai!
