Ama-Dablam Expedition

Submit Review
On March 13, 1961, Wally Romanes (NZ), Mike Gill (NZ), Barry Bishop (USA), and Mike Ward (UK) made the first ascent of Ama-Dablam via the Southwest Ridge. They had spent the winter at 5800 meters close to the peak's base during the Silver Hut Scientific Expedition of 1960–61, which was headed by Sir Edmund Hillary, so they were accustomed to the altitude. Everest believes that being accompanied by Satori Adventures' qualified staff is more comfortable than going on the Climb Ama-Dablam Expedition.  The third most popular Himalayan destination for permitted activities is Ama-Dablam. The first ascent route along the Southwest Ridge is by far the most well-known course. Three camps and a ridge make up the normal climbing route, with the base three situated just below the right hanging glacier.
