Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,600 ft)
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, our representative from Namaste Nepal Trekking & Research Hub will pick you up from the airport. He will be displaying a NNTR sideboard outside the airport terminal. Transfer to the selected hotel. In the afternoon the pre-trip meeting will be holding at our office. During this meeting we will introduce your trek and or tour leader/guide,
so please make sure that you ask all the questions and concerns. For the meeting please make sure you bring your passport, 2 copies of passport size photos, and your travel insurance policy copy (if you haven’t sent it by email before).
And sign the legally binding trip form as well as the non-liability disclaimer. Then head out and visit one of Kathmandu's cultural highlights. In the evening, the tourist hub of Thamel is a good place to grab your first meal, with a variety of
restaurants to chose from offering both Western and local Nepali dishes.
Day 2 : Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley (1,400m / 4,600 ft)
After breakfast, your sightseeing tour of Kathmandu valley will start. You will have a professional tour guide with a private vehicle. Today you will visit the following cultural wonders of Kathmandu valley:

Kathmandu Durbar Square:
After finished sightseeing in Patan on the way to your hotel, our driver will drop you at Kathmandu Durbar Square (only if you are staying at Thamel) from where you can walk back to Thamel through the narrow and oldest open street market of Asan. In Kathmandu durbar square you can see the following:
-Pagoda style temples which were made twelve to eighteen centuries
-An ancient royal palace with a museum
-Kashthamandap (which named the city Kathmandu)
-Living Goddess Kumari
-Black Bhairava (God of death
Day 3 : Drive / flight to Pokhara (822m / 2,697 ft)
Your trekking guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the bus station/airport. On the way catch the great view of the Himalayas, the countryside of Nepal, cross a lot of alpine forests, many green hills, and riverside. Pokhara offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, Annapurna, and Lamjung Himal. In the evening boating in the Fewa lake and hike up to world peace Stupa for Sunset view over the Pokhara valley and the beautiful Annapurna massif.
A perfect starting for your trek!
Day 4 : Driv e from Pokhara to Nayapul, and Trek to Tikhedunga (1,550m / 5,085 ft)
After morning Breakfast, we will start our journey to the mystical land of the Annapurna massive. Drive 1.30 hours from Pokhara will bring us to Nayapul; a Trekking starting point. After a short 15-20 minute walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1,015m/ 3,330 ft) a large village with many shops and hotels. From there, the trail continues through the village and follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola valley. The trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to Hille at 1,495m and after a short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at (1,550m / 5,085 ft). Today’s walk is relatively short and easy.
Day 5 : Trek to Ghorapani (2,850m / 9,351 ft)
Our second and interesting day of the trek! We move on towards 3,500 stone steeps climbing to Ulleri, a large Magar and Poon village at an altitude of 2,070m /6,791 ft. The trail ascends more gently from this point, we will walk through a Ulleri village to get Banthanthi for a nice cup of tea and again walk through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons to Nangathanti for fulfilling Lunch. 1:30 hours from Nangathanti we will reach Ghorepani. Ghorepani is popular for the Poonhill hike which presents a spectacular view of the sunrise and a superb panoramic view of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain range.
Day 6 : Hike p to Poon Hill (3,210m / 10,531 ft) and Trek to Tadapani (2,700m / 8,859 ft)
Today one of the most special day of our trek. Very early in the morning, we hike up to Poon hill about an hour for the sunrise view. Poon hill offers a wide range of Himalayan panorama of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Lamjung Himal, and Manaslu. The most impressive Mountain View spot in Nepal. After enjoying the sunrise view we will trek back to Ghorepani for our breakfast. Then we make a climb along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2,960m /9,711 ft). After that, we descend to the Banthanti for lunch, then we trek 30 min down to cross a small river and take 1-hour climb to reach beautiful Tadapani for the night.
Day 7 : Trek to Chhomrong (2,170m / 7,120 ft)
Tadapani Also, a good place to have a closer look at the Annapurna massive with a hot cup of tea in the morning. Leaving Tadapani, we descend steep downhill through the rhododendron forests and small farming villages like Chuile, Burjung. after crossing the river we start climbing, and Package no 1 Annapurna Base Camp then the trail eases as we reach Gurjung which is the small farming village of Gurung people, After having lunch here its an easy walk to Chommrong at an elevation of (2,170m / 7,120 ft).
Day 8 : Trek to Dobhan (2,455m / 8,055 ft)
Our day starts after a good breakfast with the mountain view. Stone steps from Chhomrong drop down to Chhomrong Khola, where we cross a suspension bridge. Then we take a steep climb up lower Sinuwa than to upper Sinuwa for the tea break. After a short walk along the jungle, followed by an easy downhill, we reach Bamboo for lunch. Passing the damp bamboo forest, we take the step towards Dovan, the bottom of a Modi river gorge. Not much to see here today.
Day 9 : Trek to Deurali (3,250m / 10,662 ft)
The trek from Dovan to Himalaya is a silent one as big noises are not allowed in the jungle in regard to temple sites along the way. The route first comp rises bamboo forests and then changes to rhododendron forests and contains plenty of waterfalls and streams. Upon reaching Himalaya, clearings appear and Glacier Rivers are visible along the trail as we ascend to Hinku cave. After a short walk, the trail first drops to the river and then ascending again to reach Deurali that offers exotic views of the valley below. We are again up in the open sky. From Deurali we can see beautiful views of Machhapuchre and Gangapurna.
Day 10 : Trek to MBC (3,700 /12,139 ft) to ABC (4,130m / 13,550 ft)
Today is the final and most important day of our trekking. From Deurali, the trail passes through a bank of Modi River, and after a tedious climb, we reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC). Surrounded by snowcapped mountains on all sides, views of Annapurna, Machhapuchhre, Gangapurna, Himchuli, etc are very rewarding. We take another 2-3 hours up from MBC to reach Annapurna Base Camp. The way to ABC is wider with scanty vegetation. Mountain View unveils to clarity.
Annapurna Base Camp gives an awe-inspiring view of the mountains including 10th Highest mountain in the world Mt Annapurna I (8,091m / 26,545 ft), and Annapurna South (7,219m / 23,684 ft), Bhara Shikhar (7,647m / 25088 ft), Tharpu Chuli/Tent Peak (5,695 m/ 18,684 ft), Annapurna III (7,555m / 24,786ft), Gandharba Chuli (6,248m / 20,498 ft), Machhapuchhre / Fishtail (6,997m / 22,956 ft), Hiunchuli (6,441/ 21,132 ft) and many more.
Day 11 : Trek to Bamboo (2,310m / 7,579 ft)
After enjoying a beautiful sunrise view from ABC, we head back following the same trail through MBC, Deurali, Himalaya, Dovan, and all the way to Bamboo. Today the trail drops by 1,700m to the bank of Modi River to Bamboo at (2,310m / 7,579 ft) where we will stay for the night.
Day 12 : Trek to Jhinu dada (1,760m / 5,774 ft)
We follow the same trail until Chommrong. Down to Chhomrong Khola and climb the stone steps for lunch. From Chomrong the trail descends very steeply to the Jhinu danda where they have natural hot spring. Jhinu dada is known for its natural Hot Spring where you can take a relaxing bath. The spring is a 20 min walk from the guesthouse on the bank of Modi River.
Day 13 : Trek to Nayapul and drive to Pokhara (822m / 2,697 ft)
From Jhinu Danda we trek along the right side of Modi River for 4 to 5 hours to Birethanti which can be considered one of the best and the most relaxing walks of the entire trek. We reach Nayapul then a 1:30 hour drive will take us back to Pokhara.
Day 14 : Drive/flight to Kathmandu (1,400m / 4,600 ft)
We will take an early morning deluxe tourist bus/afternoon flight to Kathmandu. If you have time and interested in extending the trip, White water rafting, Chitwan jungle safari, visit Lumbini: Birthplace of Lord Buddha, paragliding, sightseeing will be ideal.
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, Transfer to the selected hotel. In the evening to celebrate the successful completion of our journey, the farewell dinner will be served in a traditional Nepalese restaurant with cultural performances.
Day 15 : Final departure
Your adventure to Nepal comes to the end today! It’s time to say goodbye to Nepal until the Next Time! Enjoy your last moments in Kathmandu, a city stroll, and or souvenir shopping. NNTR representative will meet you at your hotel and drive you to the airport for your return flight home. On the way to your home, you have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in
the wonderful land of the mystic Himalayas.
