Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu to Lukla (2,860 meters/9,383 feet) and Trek to Phakding (2,610 meters/8,563 feet)
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (a thrilling 30-minute flight). Start your trek by descending to Phakding along the Dudh Koshi River.
Day 2: Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440 meters/11,286 feet)
Trek through pine forests and cross suspension bridges. Reach Namche Bazaar, a vibrant Sherpa town, and a major trading hub.
Day 3: Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar
Acclimate to the higher altitude. Explore Namche Bazaar and visit the Sherpa Culture Museum.
Day 4: Namche Bazaar to Phortse Tenga (3,680 meters/12,073 feet)
Trek to Phortse Tenga via a picturesque trail with rhododendron forests.
Day 5: Phortse Tenga to Machermo (4,470 meters/14,663 feet)
Ascend to Machermo, gradually gaining altitude. Enjoy the stunning mountain views along the way.
Day 6: Machermo to Gokyo (4,790 meters/15,715 feet)
Trek to Gokyo, which sits beside the third Gokyo Lake. Enjoy your first views of Gokyo Ri and the surrounding peaks.
Day 7: Rest Day in Gokyo
Acclimatize and explore the area. Optionally, you can hike to the fourth and fifth Gokyo Lakes or explore the nearby Ngozumpa Glacier.
Day 8: Gokyo to Thangnak (4,700 meters/15,420 feet)
Trek across the Ngozumpa Glacier. Reach Dragnag, a small settlement.
Day 9: Dragnag to Dzongla (4,830 meters/15,850 feet) via Cho La Pass (5,420 meters/17,782 feet)
Cross the challenging Cho La Pass. Descend to Dzongla for your overnight stay.
Day 10: Dzongla to Lobuche (4,910 meters/16,109 feet)
Trek to Lobuche, with stunning views of the Khumbu Glacier and surrounding peaks.
Day 11: Gorak Shep (5,140 meters/16,864 feet) & Visit Everest Base Camp (5,364 meters/17,598 feet
Hike to Gorak Shep and drop your bags at the teahouse. Continue to Everest Base Camp and return to Gorak Shep for the night.
Day 12: Gorak Shep to Kalapathar and back to Gorak Shep Trek To Pheriche
The trek from Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar and back typically spans a single day. Beginning early in the morning from Gorak Shep, trekkers ascend the steep and challenging trail to Kala Patthar, gaining approximately 400 meters in elevation. Along the way, awe-inspiring views of Mount Everest, Nuptse, and Lhotse unfold. After spending time absorbing the panoramic vistas from Kala Patthar's summit, trekkers descend back to Gorak Shep, usually completing the round trip in about 5-6 hours. It's advisable to start early to avoid harsh weather conditions and ensure ample time to relish the breathtaking scenery.
Day 13: Pheriche to Namche Bazar trek
The trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar typically spans 3-4 days. Trekkers descend through scenic valleys, passing Sherpa villages and rhododendron forests. The trail offers breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks and crosses suspension bridges over rivers. Highlights include Tengboche Monastery before reaching Namche Bazaar, a vibrant Sherpa town and commercial center of the region.
Day 14: Namche Bazar to Lukla trek
The trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla typically takes around 2-3 days. Starting from Namche Bazaar, trekkers descend through rhododendron forests and cross suspension bridges over rushing rivers. The trail passes through charming Sherpa villages and offers panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks. After a day or two of trekking, depending on the pace, trekkers reach Lukla, the gateway to the Everest region, where they can catch a flight back to Kathmandu. This trek provides a scenic and relatively moderate journey through the heart of the Khumbu region.
Day 15:Lukla to Kathmandu flight
The flight from Lukla to Kathmandu is a thrilling experience that typically lasts around 25-30 minutes. Passengers board small, twin-engine aircraft operated by domestic airlines at Tenzing-Hillary Airport in Lukla. The flight offers stunning aerial views of the Himalayan mountains and valleys as it traverses through the rugged terrain of the Everest region. Weather conditions can sometimes affect flight schedules, so it's advisable to check in advance. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, passengers disembark at Tribhuvan International Airport, concluding their adventurous journey from the heart of the Himalayas back to the bustling capital city of Nepal.
