Upon arrival in the Kathmandu Airport (TIA), you will be welcomed and greeted by our representative and then transfer to the hotel. After check in, you can either take rest; hang around in the city as it all depends upon your interests.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu

Early morning after breakfast transfer to Kathmandu airport in domestic terminal to fly over Lukla, a gateway destination for trekking in Everest Region. After 40 minutes adventurous and scenic view flight we reach in the Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla. Here we meet our other crew members and then we begin our first day easy trek through forest, villages and along the Dudh Koshi River to Phakding.

Day 2: Kathmandu to Lukla flight and trek to Phakding

Today also we follow the Dudh Koshi River and cross suspension bridges many times, one of which is the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. On the way, we can see the beautiful view of Mt Thamserku (6618m). Passing through the small village of Benkar, Chumoa, Monjo we enter in to the Sagarmatha National Park. We cross the last village of Jorsale before Namche and then gradual walk through the forest and bridges until we reach the confluence of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi Rivers (Larja Dobhan). After then about 2 hours steep climb we reach Chautara from where we get the first sight of Mt. Everest. From there another 1.5 hours easy walking bring us to Namche Bazzar, the gate way to Mt. Everest and the main trading center.

Day 3: Phakding to Namche Bazaar

After 2 days walking we take a rest in Namche Bazaar to acclimatize the body. It is recommended to stay active during rest day also which helps to acclimatize our body quickly. Walking little high altitude around 100 ft will help to acclimatize properly. Morning we do hike in Thame and later explore Namche Bazzar.

Day 4: Namche Bazaar: Rest day

Today, the trail has gradual ups and downs with the magnificent view of the Himalayas and Musk Deer, Monal, Blue Sheep may come across on our way while walking through the jungle. We begin the day with a gradual walk down up to Kayanguma, passing by Tenzing Norgye Memorial Stupa and viewing massive Ama Dablam, Lhotse Shar, Taboche, Thamserku more snowcapped peaks. After then little ahead, we reach Sansa, the junction to Gokyo Valley and Everest Base Camp. We follow the right trail to Everest Base Camp through pine forests and come across the bridge over the Dhudh Koshi River in Phungi Thanga. From there the trail is little steep through the forest of rhododendrons and fir trees to Tengboche village, the home of the biggest Buddhist Monastery of Everest region and the close up view of massive Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Everest is very impressive.

Day 5: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

Witness and capture the awesome view of mountains in the background of Tengboche Monastery. After breakfast, we continue the journey gradually down from rhododendron trees and come across the suspension bridge over the Dudh Koshi River. About an hour's further walk will bring us to Pangboche, which offers a dramatic view of the Himalayas and village. Passing by several Chortens, Mani walls and Pangboche Gompa we continue the trek through the village of Syomare, Orsho and Samso Ogma, where we meet the junction. From there, we follow the right path, and after crossing the bridge over the confluence of Khumbu Khola and Imja River we climb the steep path to Chyakunwa Kharka, from where we can see the spectacular view of Taboche, Ama Dablam, Khangteka, Thamserku, Nuptse, Lhotse and many more. After a few minutes of gradual climb, we will be welcomed by chorten and prayer flags in Dingboche.

Day 6: Tengboche to Dingboche

Today all the way is dry but offers awesome Mountain View on all sides. We start the trek by walking gradually through the Khumbu Khola Valley and reach the yak herder’s place, Dusa (4503m). After following the narrow trail we reach Phulung Karpo, where campsite was asserted during the first successful Everest Expedition in 1953. Further, the sight of Chola Lake and Mt. Pumo Ri (7161m) appears on the way. As we descend the trail the view of Mt. Pumo Ri disappears and comes across the roaring stream. We cross the small wooden bridge and climb steeply up to Dughla. Dughla offers marvellous views of Nuptse, Cholatse, Thamserku and several other magnificent peaks.

Day 7: Dingboche to Dughla

Today is a short but difficult walking day as we have to walk through the boulder path left by the Khumbu glacier. Initially, we will walk a steep path through the moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and climb to Thukla Pass (4830m). At the top, there are piles of stones with prayer flags and memorials of dead climbers, including Babu Chiri Sherpa, 10 times Everest submitter and Scott Fischer, an American mountaineer. As we descend to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, several great peaks like Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori, and Mahalangur Himal greet us. After crossing Khumbu Glacier, we get the beautiful sight of towering Mt. Nuptse (7855m). Further climbing the steep trail along the roaring stream, we reach Lobuche.

Day 8: Dughla to Lobuche

Today's  we will reach Gorak Shep, hike to Kalapatthar for a stunning sunset over the Himalayas, including Mt. Everest. Or head to Everest Base Camp, then return to Gorak Shep. Trek through Khumbu glacier's moraine, catch sight of Mt. Everest's north ridge, and witness panoramic views before reaching Gorak Shep.

Day 9: Lobuche to Gorak Shep to Kalapatthar to Gorak Shep Or Lobuche to EBC to Gorak Shep

Those participants who had chosen option 1 yesterday (Kalapatthar), will visit the Everest base camp today. Those who chose option 2 yesterday (Everest Base Camp) will hike to Kalapatthar today for a sunrise view over snowcapped mountains, including Mt. Everest, and then wait for other participants to return to Gorak Shep.
After lunch in Gorak Shep, we trek back to Dughla via the same route and then follow the right-side trail to Pheriche.

Day 10: Gorak Shep to Kala Patthar / Everest Base Camp to Pheriche

After breakfast, we trek down through Rhododendron and Juniper Forest, passing by Samdrang village, Stone Wall, Tsuro Og and then Samso Ogma, Orsho and Syomare village. Crossing the river several times through a suspension bridge and walking steadily, we reach the home of the biggest Buddhist Monastery of the Everest region, Tengboche. From there, we descend down to the river and again cross a suspension bridge, passing by the beautiful village of Sanasa, Kyangiuma, and enjoying the magnificent view of the Himalayas on the way, we reach Tenzing Norgye Memorial Stupa. On the way, we may encounter wildlife such as snow leopards, colourful pheasants, Himalayan thaks, deer, etc. After that, a gradual one-hour walk will bring you to the main town of the Everest Region, the Namche Bazaar.

Day 11: Pheriche to Tengboche to Namche Bazzar

Our final trek day offers a different perspective as we retrace our steps, enjoying Sherpa villages and scenic views. Despite some steep trails, the warmer weather brings relief. We gradually descend via the Dudh Koshi River, passing through charming villages and rhododendron forests to reach Phakding. From there, it's a few more hours to Lukla, where we unwind, take a stroll, and share our last dinner with the crew.

Day 12: Namche Bazaar to Lukla

After early breakfast we fly back to Kathmandu memorizing those excited and beautiful days. In Kathmandu you can take a rest throughout the day in hotel or you can explore other attractions of Kathmandu. For the memorizing the Nepal trip you can buy some souvenirs for yourself or for friends and family in Thamel Area. Late evening we celebrate the success of our trip and enjoy dinner together.

Everest Base Camp (Nepal)

We take an early morning regular flight to Lukla by a Twin Otter plane which is where all Everest treks begin. We meet the rest of our team in Lukla and start trekking from there. We walk on a trail that gradually descends to Cheplung village from where we get a glimpse of Mt. Khumbila, a sacred mountain which has never been climbed. From here, we gradually descend until Phakding. Overnight in Phakding.

Day 2: Fly to Lukla, trek to Phakding

Our trail passes through a pine forest and we continue our walk on the trail that goes up north through the Benkar valley. We cross Dudh Koshi River and pass Chumoa and Monjo villages before reaching the entrance of the Everest National Park. After entering the park, we ascend on a steep trail with incredible views. Ascending further, we reach Namche Bazaar which is the biggest town in the Everest region. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Spending one more day in Namche Bazaar will help us get used to the high altitude and thinning oxygen in the air. We tour the primary town of the Everest or Khumbu region which has government offices, ATMs, internet cafes, shops, restaurants, and a colorful market. We can hike-up to Sagarmatha National Park and enjoy the sunrise over the Himalayas including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde and so on. If we are interested in a day hike, we can trek to Khumjung village. Today we also visit the Hillary School and a monastery which houses a yeti scalp! Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

This segment of the trek includes the famous descent to the Dudh-Koshi River and the equally famous ascent along the rhododendron forests to Tengboche. While descending the Dudh Kish River, we enjoy the views of mountain tops like Mount Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde and so on. Upon reaching Tengboche, we visit Tengboche monastery largest monastery in the region and soak in the views of Everest, Ama Dablam and other peaks. Overnight in Tengboche.

We descend and trek through forests filled with a variety of lush trees – birch, conifers and rhododendrons. This journey again rewards us with tremendous views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. The picturesque trail dips down to Devuche, crosses the Imja River and takes us to Pangboche. The upper Pangboche trails reward us with a more pristine view of the Himalayas and the Pangboche Monastery. The trek moves ahead towards the Imja Valley, Lobuche River and ultimately begins climbing up to Dingboche. Overnight at Dingboche.

Dingboche is a popular stop for trekkers and climbers headed to Mt. Everest, Ama Dablam or Imja Tse. The village is beautiful with an array of fields enclosed by stone walls to protect barley, buckwheat and potatoes from the cold wind and grazing animals. We spend a day at Dingboche for acclimatization. We take day hikes to either Nagarjun Hill or Chukkhung Valley for great views of Makalu, Lhotse, Chalotse, Tawache and Ama Dablam.

Day 7: Dingboche: acclimatization

We start the day with a gradual climb to Duglha at the end of the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. From here, we climb up a steep trail to Chupki Lhara, where we find an array of stones with prayer flags used as memorials to Scott Fischer (American mounaineer) and 10-time Everest submitter Babu Chiri Sherpa (Nepali mountain guide) who perished on a mission to climb Everest. Next, we continue to the Khumbu Glacier moraine and find ourselves facing several great peaks – Khumbutse, Lingtren, Pumori and Mahalangur Himal. The trail then eases off as we follow the valley to Lobuche. Overnight in Lobuche.

Day 8: Dingboche to Lobuche

We take the trail to Everest Base Camp through the once vast Gorak Shep Lake. Continuing straight ahead, we come across the Indian army mountaineers’ memorials. The path from here can be misleading; hence, it is important that we follow our lead Sherpa diligently. The walk is strenuous due to thin air in the high altitude. We pass through rocky dunes, moraine and streams before reaching the Everest Base Camp. Upon reaching the Everest Base Camp, we see tents of mountaineers that stand out in bright colors against the monotony of gray surroundings (especially in the spring). Nuptse, Khumbuste and Pumori are the mountains we can view from the base camp. We get back to Gorak Shep for a good night’s rest. Overnight in Gorak Shep.

Day 9: Lobuche to Gorak Shep , visit Everest Base Camp

You'll set off early to catch the sunrise over Lingtren, Khumbutse, and Changtse Tower, with Everest slowly revealing itself. Kalapatthar at 5,545m offers an up-close, stunning 360-degree view of Mt. Everest, perfect for capturing photos and soaking in the panorama.

Those heading to Everest Base Camp start with an early breakfast for the longer hike. Afterward, a descent to Gorak Shep precedes a helicopter ride to Lukla. Flying over the culturally significant Gokyo Lake is a serene experience before settling in for the night in Lukla.

We catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu after our long mountain journey. After reaching Kathmandu, we can take a rest or do some souvenir shopping. If we want to explore any other areas of Kathmandu, we may do that today. Our guides can help you with both souvenir shopping or sightseeing. There will be a farewell dinner in the evening to celebrate the successful completion of our journey. Overnight in Kathmandu.

On our final trekking day, we retrace our steps, experiencing a whole new perspective. The trail is steep, demanding a slow pace as we absorb Sherpa culture in beautiful villages and marvel at the distant Himalayan vistas. The freezing cold gives way to warmth, providing relief. After breakfast, a gradual walk leads us to the Larja Bridge, the confluence of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi River, then through Jorsale, Monjo, Chumoa, Benkar, and a rhododendron forest to Phakding. A few more hours of walking bring us back to Lukla. There, we relax, stroll around, and enjoy our final dinner with the crew.

If you want you can also extend your trip and do some other activities like city tours.

You will be saying good bye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! We will take you to the airport for your flight time. We hope you will be back trekking somewhere in the Himalaya again. On your way home you’ll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.

Everest Base Camp Group Trek

Day 1 Arrive in Kathmandu

Early morning after breakfast, you’ll begin on a 6-7 hour drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, enjoying breathtaking landscapes and lush greenery along the way. The journey consists of well-paved highways in the initial part, however, expect some narrow and winding roads as you proceed near pokhara. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel and you can give yourself some relaxation time after that long drive.  Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 2 Kathmandu to Pokhara Drive

After breakfast, we will drive towards Kyumi to start our trek, initially with a few hours of walking on the terrain. Soon, we will reach Jhinu Hot Spring, where you can take a break and relax. Then, you climb for an hour to reach Chomorong. Chomrong is a picturesque village nestled in the lap of the towering Annapurna range.  Here, you can immerse yourself in Gurung culture and traditions. Overnight in Chomorong.

Day 3 Drive to Kyumi and trek to Chomorong

We head out of Chhomrong along the Modi Khola leaving behind inhabited foothills into the high step and wooded slopes of Himalayas. We cross the suspension bridge then trek up to Sinuwa Danda. The ascent from Sinuwa becomes somewhat flatter. The trail passes through thick and dark rhododendron forest up to Khuldighar. Then, we descend a long and steep stone steps into deep bamboo and rhododendron forests through which we reach Doban shortly.

Day 4 Chomrong to Dovan

The day starts with gentle gradual ascend following the trail above the river through a thick bamboo, oak and rhododendron forests up the side of the canyon. Pass by Himalaya Hotel. We cross two streams over small bridges. The trail passes through solitary places. Wilderness of the mother nature gives piece to our mind. There is also the possibility of seeing a variety of species of wildlife such as wild pig, deer, snow leopard, etc. Climb again to the Hinko Cave, an overhanging rock. Climbing further arrive at Deurali. Overnight in Deurali.

Day 5 Dovan to Deurali

Day 6 Deurali to Annapurna Base Camp via Machhapuchhre Base Camp

Get up in the early morning and savor the magnificent sunrise over the Himalayas from ABC. After taking breakfast, we start descending from ABC to Bamboo back through MBC, Deurali, Dovan and finally reach Bamboo. Heading back down to the valley is much easier than climbing up. You will see the waterfalls that drop down from a high point to the rocks below. We pass through the forests with great views of Fishtail and Hiunchuli mountains. Overnight in Bamboo.

Day 7 ABC to Bamboo

From Bamboo we make a steep ascent to the Kuldi Ghar and then to Sinuwa following the stone steps that leads to Lower Chhomrong. Then we ascend on the thousand stony steps taking us to Upper Chhomrong. From Chhomrong we descend to Jhinu Danda. We today get opportunity to enjoy hot springs lying just a 15-min walk from Jhinu Danda. Overnight in Jhinu Dada.

Day 8 Bamboo to New Bridge/Jhinu Dada

Today, the trek starts from Jhinu Danda to New Bridge and then onto Kyumi village. The trekking trail is easy and mostly downhill, making a smooth walk with beautiful views along the way. Once we reach kyumi village, we will drive towards pokhara.  Overnight in Pokhara.

Day 9 Jhinu Dada to Naya Pul to Pokhara

Today, you will drive back towards Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the Today, you will drive back towards Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, we’ll have a farewell dinner to celebrate our trip’s success and share stories of our experience with everyone. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 10 Drive to Kathmandu

You are saying good bye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal comes to an end today! We take you to the airport for your flight time. We hope you enjoyed the trek, and are sure you will be back trekking somewhere in the Himalaya again. Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Black Diamond will take you to the airport and bid farewell. On your way home you’ll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
