Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure

We trek from Khare to Kothe along the same trail used previously. After reaching Kothe, we celebrate our success by trying out local delicacies and wines. Overnight in Kothe.

Day 14: Khare to Kothe (3600m/11808ft): 4-5 hours

We begin our trek to Thuli Kharka after breakfast. We climb up and descend, cross several tributaries of the Inkhu Khola before reaching a forked trail nearby Taktho. We choose the trail on our right and continue walking. Our trail passes by a Chorten after which we walk downhill on a steep trail. Next, we ascend to Thuli Kharka and pass by another Chorten on the way. Overnight in Thuli Kharka.

Day 15: Kothe to Thuli Kharka (4,300 m/14,107ft): 5-6 hours

We cross the Zatrwa-La pass at 4,600. As soon as we cross the pass, we are welcomed by the sight of the beautiful Lukla Valley which is surrounded by Cho Oyu, Kongde Peak, Numbur Himal, Kusum Khangru and other Himalayan peaks. From Zatrwa La pass we walk all the way down to Chutang and then straight forward to the Lukla village. In the evening we enjoy dinner in the Himalayas of Nepal with our crew. Overnight in Lukla.

Day 16: Thuli Kharla to Lukla via Zatrwa La pass: 6-7 hours

We catch an early morning flight to Kathmandu. After reaching Kathmandu, There will be a farewell dinner in the evening to celebrate the climbers’ successful summit of the Mera Peak. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 01: Kathmandu Arrival (1,350m/4,428ft)

Full-day Sightseeing of Kathmandu Vally .after breakfast in the morning you will be Proceed on to Boudhanath Stupa, Pasupatinath Temple, Patan Darbar Square, and Swayambhunath Stupa. Swayambhunath is a Buddhist Stupa said to be more than 2000 years old, is perched on a hillock 77 meters above the valley floor and offering a bird’s eye view of Kathmandu City. Afternoon, a tour of Patan, also known as Lalitpur or the “city of beauty” is the oldest city in the valley. A great center both of the Newari Buddhist religion and of traditional arts & crafts with 136 bahals or courtyards and 55 major temples.

Day 02: Kathmandu Vally Sightseeing (4 – 6hr)

We catch an early morning flight to Lukla from where we begin our trek to Paiya. We walk on a jungle trail, cross a bridge over the Handi Khola and reach Surke Village. From here we continue moving south and cross the Chutok La pass before reaching the small settlement of Paiyan, also known as Chutok. Overnight in Paiya.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla, trek to Paiya (Chutok) (2,730m/8,956ft): 40 mins flight, 5-6 hours trek

We descend for a while and reach a small bridge. From here the trail is slippery until we cross the Kari La pass. We walk through rhododendron and bamboo forests on a narrow mountain trail. On today’s trip, we also get to be in awe of the Dudhkoshi Valley. We continue our trek to Panggom Village whose settlers are dependent on farming and trading. Overnight in Panggom.

Day 04: Paiya to Panggom (2,846m/9,337ft): 5-6 hours

We begin our trek after breakfast. After trekking out of Panggom, we cross the Panggom La pass. Then we ascend, walk on a steady path and turn north. We cross Peseng Kharka Khola first then after walking for some time, reach Peeng Kharka Danda. We cross Ningsow Khola (stream) before reaching the Ningsow Village. Overnight in Ningsow.

Day 05: Panggom to Ningsow (2,863m/9,393ft): 4-5 hours

From Ningsow, we climb first then descend for a while and climb some more to reach Ramailo Danda. From here we get extraordinary views of Mera Peak and Salpa. After ascending and descending on our trail, we enter the Makalu Barun National Park. Our trail from here to Chhatra Khola is called the Pasang Lhamu trail. On the way, if we are lucky, we might even come across the elusive Red Panda. Overnight in Chhatra Khola.

Day 06: Ningsow to Chhatra Khola (2,800m/9,186ft): 7 – 8 hours

We walk towards the north on the main trail to Mera Peak. After walking on a trail next to the Majang Khola, we merge with another trail that moves alongside the Hinku Khola. Our trail moves straight ahead towards Tashing Ongma which has seasonal tea shops. We continue our trek and cross the bridge over the Sanu Khola before reaching Kothe.

Day 07: Chhatra Khola to Kothe (3,691m/12,109ft): 6-7 hours

We trek along the ridge of the Hinku Khola in the shadow of Mera Peak. We take lunch at Gondishung, the summer herders’ settlement in the west bank of the Hinku Drangka. Beyond Gondishung, we pass a 200-year-old Lungsumgba Gompa where we can find Mera Peak scripted in rock along with its route to reach Mera. A short walk takes us to Thaknak, which is a summer grazing area with primitive lodges and shops. Overnight in Thaknak.

Day 08: Kothe to Thaknak (4,358m/14,297ft): 3-4 hours

Leaving Thaknak, we follow the lateral moraine of Dig Glacier to Dig Kharka, which offers spectacular views of Charpate Himal. The trail climbs through moraines to the snout of the Hinku Nup and Shar Glaciers and then climbs more steeply to Khare. From here, we can see the northern face of Mera Peak which will be an amazing experience. After lunch, we can hike in and around Khare. Overnight at Khare.

Day 09: Thaknak to Khare (5,045m/16,486ft): 2-3 hours

We have a separate day set aside solely for acclimatization and basic training just to prepare ourselves better for the Mera Peak climb. Our climbing leader will help us polish our basic climbing techniques and demonstrate the best ways to use our climbing gear like the ice ax, harness, ascender climbing boots, and crampons. The training will also include learning the best climbing technique with the rope. Overnight in Khare.

Day 10 : Khare: Acclimatization and pre-climb training

We walk through a boulder-strewn course on a steep trail to reach the Mera Peak Base Camp. From here, we continue further through the Mera La pass to reach the Mera High Camp. Our path is along a rocky trail, which can be hazardous if it has recently snowed, as there are a number of crevasses here. We make our way to the top of the rock band, which is marked by a large cairn. Then we set up a high camp while enjoying excellent views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu, the south face of Lhotse, Nuptse, Chamlang, and Baruntse. Overnight at Mera High Camp.

Day 11: Khare to Mera High Camp (5,780m/18,958ft): 6 -7 hours

This is a really important day for the expedition. We wake up around 2 in the morning for breakfast. It’s going to be very cold in the beginning but soon we warm up as we continue up the glacier and onto a peculiar ridge. The first rays of the sun hit the big peaks in an amazing red glow. The route is still non-technical as we slowly climb higher into the ever-thinning air. The slope steepens for a section behind the ridge and the summit comes back into view. At the foot of the final steep summit cone, we may use a fixed rope if the climbing leader believes it’s required. The summit is only a few meters away. From the summit, we take in spectacular views of the mighty Himalayas including Mt. Everest (8,848m), Cho-Oyu (8,210m), Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,463m), Kangchenjunga (8,586m), Nuptse (7,855m), Chamlang (7,319m), Baruntse (7,129m) and others. Day 12: Mera High Camp to Summit (6,461m/21,1907ft) and back to Khare (5045m/16,547ft): 8-9 hours

There is no guarantee that we will have favorable weather on our planned day for the summit. Therefore, this day is set aside as a contingency in case we are unable to summit the Mera on the desired day due to bad weather conditions or any other unanticipated reason. However, if the trip goes smoothly, this day will not be required.

After you land, one of the representatives from Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure will be waiting to receive you at the airport. After a brief introduction, you will head towards the hotel in Thamel. After some rest, visit us at our office. We will introduce you to our staff and guides for the Manaslu Trek.

Day 01: Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu & Transfer to Hotel

Today first you will explore numerous UNESCO world heritage sites in Kathmandu. These include the Swyambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Kathmandu Durbar Square and, many other places. It will be a mesmerizing moment here in Kathmandu to witness the beauty of nature, and different cultures with different temples, architecture, and monuments. End of the day you will be well prepared for the Manaslu trip with the required stuff needed during the trip.

Day 02: Trek Preparation and Explore Kathmandu Valley(4 – 6hr)

It will take about seven hours to reach Arughat from Kathmandu. Our journey will begin early in the morning after breakfast. You’ll drive along the Highway to Arughat than to machhakhola  through beautiful paddy fields, Warm villages following the Budhi Gandaki River, and climb over and down Kyoropani to the Budi Gandaki junction and the Soti Khola to machhakhola. Although the path is rough, you will the witness the stunning scenery of the countryside view that will be more engaging.

Day 03: Drive to  to Machha Khola (930 m / 3,051 ft)8 – 10 hrs.

Resuming our trek, initially, we climbed a rocky cliff towards Siribas and continued toward Ghatte Khola. Crossing the suspension bridge we’ll reach Philim village, the settlement of the Gurung community. You will have lunch and continue your journey from grassy slopes and some cliffs to cross over Budi Gandaki to reach a small village called Deng. We will rest for the day here.

Day 05: Trek toward Deng ( 1,804 m / 5,918 ft)

We begin our trip by crossing over the Budhi Gandaki Bridge to climb a bit far to join the trail from Bhi. Headed through the forest, green valley, and houses of ethnic groups of the Manaslu region. The trail was then processed to Ghap through several landscapes. You should follow the instruction of your guide and be extra concerned about the path. After all the obstacles we finally reach up to Namrung Village. After a wonderful sunset from the village, we will rest for the day.

Day 06: Deng Village to Namrung (2,630 m / 8,628 ft)

We’ll aim to reach Samagaun from Namrung, We start our trip from Namrung to pass through Banjam, Lihi, Sho, Lho, and Sayla. We are about to witness the view of the Monastery before reaching Lho. Heading toward the Lihi, there will give you a view of Ganesh Himal, Naike Peak, and Himchuli Peak. Continue our trek, it takes 1 hour and 30 minutes to reach Lho next 2 hours to reach Sayla from Lho. While on Sayla, we will witness the views of Nadi Chuli, Manaslu, Himalchuli, Manaslu, Nike Peak, Siring Himal, and more. We’ll reach Samagaun in the afternoon.

Day 07: Namrung to Samagaun ( 3.530 m / 11,581 ft)

Today you will explore the Samagaun Village, you are about to know the traditional and cultural Monasteries, as well as the geographical cultivation such as potatoes and barley, flourish. Most people prefer to wear woolen clothes made up of sheep’s wool and involve in the manufacture of blankets, and rugs for trade. Monasteries have impressive designs and carvings which reflect the history of Tibetan settlers. There exist 8 different monasteries and among them, Pemba Chholing Gompa is the largest. You can witness the wonderful view of Manaslu, as well as the beautiful lake that lies, ascend of monasteries. After trekking for 5-6 hours, we will arrive at Manaslu Base Camp. You can also visit Pungyen Nunnery (3870m) lies above Pungyen Glacier.

Day 08: Acclimatization at Samagaon.(Manaslu Base Camp or Pungyen Gompa): 6 – 7 hours of exploration

Resuming today’s trek descends towards Budi Gandaki. The journey is relatively easy and it lies above the self above the Gandaki River. You will get to see the stone arch and plane granny land before you enter the village. Attractive place, get to see yaks and goats around the fields and the stunning view of Samdo Peak (6335m). In about 4-5 hours, we will be in Samdo village.

Day 09: Samagaun to Samdo (3,865 m / 12,680 ft):

We start our day trek by crossing over the Budi Gandaki River after some ascending hike you will be seeing a glimpse of the Larkya glacier. Visiting around the valley and a way upward again to reach the Dharmashala.

Day  11: Samdo to Dharmashala (4,460 m / 14,632 ft): 3 – 4 hour

New d1y toward a new destination, after breakfast we headed toward Larkya glacier in the north direction offer a clear view of Larkey Peak and Cho Danda. From here we start the trek to reach Larkey La Pass which is the highest point of our whole trek. The climb is challenging and in some steep sections, you should follow the instructions of the guide properly. One can have a panoramic view from the Pass. After some time here, we’ll start our long descent to Bimthang. Rest for the day after reaching Bimthang village.

Day  12: Dharmashala to Bimtang via Larkya La (5135m):

Today, we descend to Dhud Khola. We cross through the forest full of Rhododendron and pine to reach Dharapani, where we put off for a night’s stay. As the last walking day of the Manaslu Circuit, you will have plenty of scenery to enjoy throughout the trail.

Day 13: Bimtang to Dharapani(1,970 m / 6.463 ft): 6 – 8 hour

We will catch a Jeep from Dharapani to Besisahar and we drive from Besisahar to Kathmandu by Local Bus. After the successful trek, we will transfer you to your hotel. Rest for a while and join us for a farewell dinner. Share some stories and feedback as well for the team.

Day 14: Back to Kathmandu from Dharapani ( 8 – 10hr)

On your last day in Nepal, head out for a brief souvenir shopping session near the hotel in Thamel Market. We will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to TIA before the departure. The Manaslu circuit will remain with you forever alongside the lifelong memories and experiences from the trek with Himalayan Sanctuary.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)

 Boudhanath Stupa:
The largest stupa and center of Tibetan Buddhism in the Kathmandu valley. One of the best places to relax and take a hint of Buddhist culture is in Kathmandu.
Pashupatinath Temple:
The Pashupatinath Temple is one of the most significant Hindu temples in Asia with over 500 small and big shrines, Lingams, and temples in the temple complex.
Patan Durbar Square:
Patan Durbar Square is an intriguing blend of palace structures, artistic courtyards, and elegant pagoda temples. Among its main attractions is the 17th-century Krishna Mandir (Temple). The Patan Museum contains bronze statues and other religious objects which has great significance. Durbar Square has both religious and cultural importance and the surroundings are artistically beautiful.
Swayambhunath Stupa:
Also known as the ‘Monkey Temple’, this is one of the oldest heritage sites

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing and trek preparation(4 – 6hr)

Early wake up in the morning, and drive to Beshisahar by local bus. Then drive to Syange by local Jeep for 8/9 hours through Trishuli and Marshangdi River (famous River for rafting) and village countryside. Some insight into the rural people’s lifestyle and their culture on this drive. From Syange, we begin our trek. We’ll walk to Jagat. Stay overnight at the lodge.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syange/Jagat (1100m) to Dharapani (1,860m / 6,200ft) 9 – 11 hours

Enjoy the trail, climbs along the mule track into a fir forest, and cross the river surrounded by higher oak and maple trees. Admire the awesome views of major Himalayan peaks on the way and walking further you reach Chame. Stay overnight at Guesthouse.

Day 04: Dharapani to Chame (2,610m / 8,890ft) 5 – 7hours (15km)

Day 05: Chame to Pisang (3300m) 5 – 6 hours (13km)

We trek to Manang vupper route via Ghyaru, Ngawal and Mungji. The panoramic views of Annapurna, Pisang Peak, and several other peaks are breathtaking upon reaching the top. The view of the change in topography as we reach here and a memorable short visit the largest Barge monastery of that district. Stay overnight at Teahouse/Lodge

Day 06: Pisang to Manang (3570m) Duration: 6 – 7 hours

Today is acclimatization day so it would be easier to proceed further to the higher altitude. Tour around monasteries with a side trip to Lake Gangapurna. Visit the Himalayan Rescue clinic and nearby local villages and interact with them. Learn about their culture and tradition and stay overnight at Teahouse/Lodge.

Day 07: Manang (Rest day to acclimatize)

We ascend to the Tenki village and then climb out of the Marshyangdi valley up to the Jarsang Khola. Passing through pasturelands, Juniper trees, and Ghunsa village witnessing yaks and horses grazing to reach the beautiful village of Yak Kharka. We cross a wooden bridge and pass through the ancient Mani wall and finally reach Yak Kharka. Stay overnight at Teahouse/Lodge

Day 08: Trek Manang to Yak Kharka (4195m), (4 – 5 hrs) 9km

We pass through the busy settlement of Thorong Phedi to the point where many trekkers used it as a base camp. We stop at Thorong Phedi as our next day trekking is tough and to get proper acclimatization we stay overnight at Teahouse/Lodge

Day 09: Trek Yak Kharka to Phedi (4430m), (4 to 5 hrs) 8km

Walk through a steep ascent and rocky ridges to reach the top of the peak which is slightly icy from melting snow. The stunning views of snow-capped mountains from the top including the Annapurna Ranges. The beautiful Kali Gandaki gorge as we continue our trail and descend downhill to reach the holy Hindu pilgrimage Muktinath (3800m). Many Tibetan ethnics and Buddhist devotees reside here. Day 10: Trek Phedi to Thorong-La (Pass), (5416m) and Muktinath (3802m), (8 – 10hrs)

We complete our Annapurna Circuit Trek after visiting the sacred Muktinath temple and trekking further to Jomsom. Stay overnight at Teahouse/Lodge.

Day 11: Muktinath to Jomsom (2600m) 5 – 7 hours

An adventurous 25-minute morning flight to Pokhara from Jomsom. Rest and relax for a while in a hotel. Rest of the day tour nearby places or visit local markets if you wish to. Enjoy the nightlife in Pokhara. Stay overnight at a hotel.

Day 12: Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara (25 min)

After Breakfast in the morning we will transfer you to the Tourist Bus Station to  catch the Tourist bus back to Kathmandu . Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Annapurna Circuit Trek

After an exciting scenic flight to Pokhara,  We will drive for about 3 hours by taxi/bus/jeep to reach Jhinu. We will hike all the way up  to  Chhomrong for overnigh which will takes us more than 2 hour . which is a beautiful Gurung village having its own culture, tradition, and lifestyle. We will cross one of the longest suspension bridges of this trek before reaching Jhinu Danda. The stunning vistas of Mt. Annapurna South, Himchuli, and Fishtail and terrains upon arriving at Chhomrong. Spend a night there at a teahouse.

Day 01: Flight to Pokhara(823m/2,700ft)Drive  to jhinu 3 hr and trek to Chhomrong(2210 m | 7,251 ft)

We will wake up with beautiful vistas of the White Mountain from our lodge in perfect weather or else enjoy the morning with a delicious breakfast and a cup of tea/coffee. We will climb on stone steps for an hour to reach Sinwa Danda after crossing the suspension bridge over Chhomrong Khola. Enjoying and walking through the forests of bamboo, and rhododendron, we will ascent to Dovan for  overnight stay at the teahouse.

Day 02: Trek from Chomrong(2210 m | 7,251 ft.) to Dovan (2600m) 8.6 kilometers / 5.3 miles.5 – 7 hrs

We will wake up with beautiful vistas of the White Mountain from our lodge in perfect weather or else enjoy the morning with a delicious breakfast and a cup of tea/coffee. We will climb on stone steps for an hour to reach Sinwa Danda after crossing the suspension bridge over Chhomrong Khola. We will pass through a bamboo forest that is damp and cold. We then walk uphill on a trail that is sometimes steep. Enjoying and walking through the forests of bamboo, and rhododendron, we will ascent to the Himalayas and then another ascent to reach our destination Deurali. Stay overnight at the teahouse.

Day 03: Trek from Dovan to Deurali (3,230m/10,598ft) 7.7 kilometers / 4.7 miles

The trail sticks to a steep rocky cliff. We will walk on a somewhat flat path for a while before ascending to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. From here, we will get excellent views of Mt. Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Annapurna I, Annapurna III, and surrounding peaks. We then turn left and begin ascending gently to the Annapurna Base Camp. During our climb, we can appreciate remarkable views of the Himalayan panorama. Hiking further we will reach the base camp and the scenery is amazing. We are surrounded by magnificent peaks and the only way into this area is through the gorge we just hiked. Stay overnight at Annapurna Base  overnight in Bamboo.

Day 04: Trek from Deurali to Annapurna base camp (4130m) via Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3720m)5 -7 hrs

From Annapurna Base Camp our trail rapidly descends past the Machhapuchhre Base Camp, Deurali, Himalaya, and Dovan, and finally to Bamboo where we spend the night. Today’s trek is downhill so it is easy. Stay overnight in Bamboo.

Day 05: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2319m)(16.7 kilometers / 10.3 miles) 6 – 8 hours

Today we will trek to Jhinu Danda from Bamboo. We will stop for lunch at Chhomrong. We will descend to reach Jhinu Danda after stepping on stones and crossing Chhomrong through Modi Khola Valley. Enjoy walking through rainforests and farms before reaching Jhinu. Stay overnight at Jhinu Danda.

Day 06: Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1760m/5770 ft): 5 – 7 hours

We will start our trek to Tolkha village via Landruk after our breakfast. You will feel in love with the stunning views of mountains, cultivated farms, and the culture and tradition of the people living there. Spend a night there and enjoy the warm hospitality of the locals.

Day 07: Trek from Jhinu Danda to Tolkha (1400mtr) Via Landruk (9.9 km / 6.1 miles) 5 -7 hours

We will bid farewell to Tolkha village, enjoy the magnificent views, and trek forward to Naudanda Phedi. We will drive back to Pokhara. Stay overnight in Pokhara.

Day 08: Trek to Naudanda Phedi then drive to Pokhara (5 – 7 hr Trek, 20min Drive)

You will take a short flight from Pokhara. You will be transferred to the hotel after you arrive in Kathmandu. Rest and relax at your hotel in Thamel. Explore the local market or buy souvenir goods. Enjoy the nightlife in Thamel.

You will be welcomed by our HSA representative at the International Airport and transferred to the hotel in Thamel. Rest, relax and stay overnight at a hotel.

Your guide for the Mardi Trek from Himalayan Sanctuary will pick you up from the hotel after breakfast today. Visit our office for a quick orientation session for the Mardi Himal trek and complete the preparation. From here you will head for a heritage tour of the Kathmandu Valley. You will visit the world heritage sites and beautiful cultural fascinations around the valley today. Some of these might be: –

Swayambhunath Temple:
Popularly known as the ‘Monkey Temple’, is one of the amazing oldest heritage sites in Nepal. From the Temple viewpoint at the top, you can have a full-extent view of the Nepalese capital.

Durbar Squares:
The major cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur (Patan) here signify the rich history, art, architecture, tradition, and culture within the Kathmandu Valley and these three Durbar Squares are Nepal’s treasure among them you will vist Patan Darbar Square.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing (4 – 6hr)

After breakfast, our guide will take you to the bus station near Thamel. You’ll embark on a picturesque drive from Kathmandu to the stunning city of Pokhara via the highway. The beautiful scenery on the way to Pokhara will make your trip wonderful. Stop over for lunch or coffee halfway. You will drive straight to your hotel here and rest for the day. You can enjoy brief strolls to the lakeside vicinity close to your hotel in the evening. Overnight at Pokhara

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara(7 – 9hr)

The trek starts from Phedi today which is about a 45-minute drive from the Pokhara valley. After reaching Phedi, we will start walking on a bit relaxed trail to Deurali. This well-managed path passes through the iconic Dhampus village. The trail covered with stones leads us to Dhampus village. We will continue the trek to a small rim after having lunch. We will reach the small beautiful village of Deurali after an hour of trekking. We will rest for the day in a lodge/teahouse here. Overnight at Deurali.

Day 04: Drive to Phedi, Trek to Deurali (2,100 m/6889.76ft) 4 – 6 hr

Before commencing the trek, take in the stunning sights of Machhapuchhre (also known as “fishtail”) and Mardi from Deurali. A grand and clear view of these peaks in clear weather. We will walk through rhododendron forests and small beautiful villages before reaching the Forest camp. This area is locally known as Kokkar. An amazing view of the natural surrounding scenery from the camp. Stay overnight in the Forest Camp.

Day 05: Deurali to Forest Camp (2,600 m/8530ft)

A slow uphill walk to High Camp today. Stopping briefly at the low camp we will have our lunch in a teahouse here. As we approach the high camp, we’ll witness a noticeable transformation in the vegetation and landscape. The fantastic views of diverse floras and faunas upon walking around the trail. After three hours of a climb from the low camp will see us reach the High Camp. Overnight at a lodge/teahouse.

Day 06: Forest Camp to High Camp ((3560 m/11680ft))

Early we will start the hike to the Mardi Himal base camp to witness a beautiful sunrise over the snow-capped peaks. The dominating Himalayas in the skyline is magical. We will continue our trek further to the highest point of the trail. Walking on a gradual uphill path we will reach the base camp after a couple of hours. From the base, we can have alluring views of Mardi, Fishtail, Tent Peak, Annapurna Massif, Hiunchuli, Baraha Shikhar, and many other snow-capped peaks of the region. After a fantastic time in the base camp, we will return to High Camp. Overnight at a teahouse.

Day 07: Trek to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500 m/14763ft)

We will trek back to Pokhara via Sidhing village. Today we will be descending downhill from the High Camp. The views are fantastic from this segment of the walk too. Passing numerous small forests dominated by rhododendron patches we will drop down from the camp. We will go pass through small shrines and monasteries on the way to Sidhing village. Sidhing is one of the major villages in the area and one can get a taste of the village lifestyle here. Rest, relax, and overnight at a hotel/lodge here.

Day 08: High Camp to Sidhing (1,750 m/ 5740ft)

We will have an enjoyable downhill walk to Lumre. The breathtaking views of snow-capped peaks, terraced fields, and green hills are refreshing. We will complete this short trek at Lumre back to Pokhara in a cab. Take some time to relax at your hotel after arriving, then venture out to discover the city. You can rejuvenate yourself by visiting the lakeside area and admiring the gorgeous sunset and surroundings. Don’t forget to indulge in some Thakali cuisine and experience the vibrant nightlife of Pokhara. Overnight at a hotel in Pokhara.

Day 09:  Sidhing to Pokhara ( 5 – 6hr)

You may visit some local places in Pokhara before returning to Kathmandu. Following breakfast, your guide will accompany you to a nearby bus station where you’ll board a bus back to the capital. Once you arrive, you’ll return to your hotel in Thamel. Explore the lively Thamel market, and purchase some souvenirs shopping in your free time. You are welcome for a farewell dinner and to share your experiences with us. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 10: Drive back to Kathmandu(7 – 9 hr)

We will receive you at the hotel and depart you to the TIA. We will hope you have some great memories of the Mardi Himal Trek and that the services you get with Himalaya Sanctuary are satisfactory.

Our Himalayan Sanctuary representative welcomes you at the International Airport upon your arrival. After completing all formalities, you are transferred to the hotel in Thamel. Overnight at a hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu.

After breakfast, you proceed to the Kathmandu Valley sightseeing places in which you will visit the major world heritage sites and beautiful attractions around the valley throughout today. Some of these might be:-

Durbar Squares
Three durbar squares in the valley representing the major cities of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Lalitpur (Patan) here resemble the rich history, art, and culture of the Kathmandu Valley. Among them, you will visit Patan Durbar Square.

Patan Durbar Square:
Patan Durbar Square is a fascinating combination of palace buildings, artistic courtyards, and graceful pagoda temples. The Krishna Mandir (Temple) from the 17th century is a major attraction. The patanPatan museum contains bronze statues and other religious objects which has great significance. Durbar Square has both religious and cultural importance and the surroundings are artistically beautiful.

Day 02: Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing (4 – 6 hrs)

In the morning, take a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. After that, a trek to Phakding commences via Cheplung village. Get a glimpse of Mt, Khumbila on the way. Overnight at Phakding.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding (2,651m/8,700ft): 30-minute flight, 3 – 4 hours trek

A trek to the Sherpa capital Namche begins. Walking through the Benkar valley and we traverse the Dudh Koshi River. Proceed further and walk through Chumoa and Monjo villages and enter the Sagarmatha National Park. From there, cross a suspension bridge to reach Jorsale village. Ascend uphill and arrive at Namche. Overnight in Namche.

Day 04: Phakding – Namche (3,438m/11,280 ft): 4 – 5 hours

An acclimatization rest at Namche Bazaar to adjust easily to the altitude. We explore Namche today by exploring the surrounding places. Visit the Sagarmatha National Park and witness some diverse flora. If lucky get some glimpse of wild animals too. Admire the stunning views of Mt. Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and other snowy mountains. After that, we can also visit Khumjung village or rest at a hotel. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.

Day 05: Acclimatization Day – Namche Bazaar: (3,440m/11,284ft)

A pleasurable walk to Phunki. From Phunki, ascend towards Tengboche and visit the largest Tengboche Monastery in the Everest region. Observe some great views from the monastery including Mt. Lhotse, Nuptse, and Thamserku. Rest at a guesthouse. Stay Overnight.

Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft): 4 – 6 hours

A descend walk to Debuche and traverse the Imja River. Proceed further and reach the village of Pangboche. Explore the oldest Pangboche monastery. Reach our destination Dingboche via Imja Valley. Stay Overnight.

Day 07: Tengboche to Dingboche (4,358m/14,295 ft) 4 – 6 hours

A long trail continues admiring the scenic views. Pass through lovely settlements and traverse Dughla Pass and reach Lobuche. Stay Overnight.

Day 08: Dingboche – Lobuche (4,928m/16164 ft.) 4 – 5 hr

A prime point of our trek comes as a trek to the Everest Base Camp commences. A long-hour trek yet a fruitful experience. Reach Gorakshep and have lunch. From there, trek to the Everest Base Camp onwards. Upon reaching the base camp, relish the spectacular views of Mt. Pumori, Khumbu, and Nuptse. Return to Gorakshep and stay overnight.

Day 09: Lobuche – Gorak Shep (5,160m/16,929ft) – Everest Base Camp (5,320m/17,450ft)

A thrilling trek to the highest point Kalapatthar for a stunning close-up view of the world’s highest Everest and surrounding snowy mountains. Snap some photos and enjoy some time in the vicinity. Return to Gorakshep and have lunch. Trek down to Pheriche and spend a night at a guesthouse.

Day 10: Gorakshep – Kalapatthar (5,550m/18,204ft) – Pheriche (4200 m)

An enjoyable walk to Namche Bazaar. A slow descent walks adoring the sceneries through Pangboche and Tengboche. Arrive at Namche and rest for a while at the hotel. Explore the Bazaar, eat some bakery items, or buy some souvenirs in the evening. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 11: Trek to Namche Bazaar (3,500m/11,480ft) – 7 hours

Our last day of trekking in this Everest region. We trek to Lukla and reminisce about the wonderful adventurous journey towards the Everest Base Camp. Enjoy the last day in the lap of mountains, relax, take a hot shower, and have some celebrations upon accomplishing the trek. Overnight at a guesthouse.

Day 12: Trek to Lukla (2,804 m) – 6 hours

An early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. Bid adieu to this wonderful mountainous place and enjoy the last scenic flight from Lukla. Upon reaching Kathmandu, rest and relax at the hotel. In the evening, join us for a cultural dinner and share some of the experiences. Overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 13: Lukla – Kathmandu (1400 m)
