Kilimanjaro Lifetime Adventures

The day will starts with your Morning breakfast from your hotel in Moshi town where you will have your final check of your climbing equipment and you will do your last minutes shopping for some bites like chocolate, biscuits and of kind. There after you will take a 50-minute drive from Moshi town to Machame gate. At the gate you will have your lunch and after the park formalities it is when you will start your polepole hike for 5 to 6hrs which is a distance of 11 kilometers walking through the misty montane forest where you can enjoy to see the fairytale in lush, deep and green. You will hike from the gate to Machame camp, where you will meet your porters readymade your tents and the evening meals ready for your dinner and overnight stay. Time and distance: hiking of 5 to 6hrs a distance of 11km Elevation: 1830m/6000ft to 3050m/9950ft

Day 1: Moshi to Machame gate and hike up to Machame camp

The day will start with your morning breakfast at Machame camp and have your parked lunch which you will take it on your way up as the chefs and porters will meet you at the camp. The hike will be through the moorland crossing the valley along a steep rock ridge, which a hike of 4 to 5hrs a distance of 5 Kilometers reaching the Shira camp. On your hike to the Shira camp, you will have an awe view of the Kibo volcanic cone, the western breach, Shira cathedral and you will enjoy the best sunset. Reaching at the camp you will find you tents are ready for your rest. Time and distance: hiking of 4 to 5hrs a distance of 5km Elevation: 3050m/9950ft to 3850m/12,600ft

Day 2: Machame camp to Shira camp

The third climbing day is a long hike for a distance of 10 kilometers that will be a hike of 5 to 6hrs walking through the semi-desert rocky ground of the lover ridge. The hike will start prior after your breakfast leaving your camps ascending to the Kilimanjaro volcanic plug called lover tower and then descend down to the massive landline of the Baranco valley where you will be camping and the Baranco camp. Baranco camp can be reached with people from Lemosho, Shira and Machame. Hiking up to the lover tower and descending down to Baranco there are altitude difficulties with some shortage of oxygen, but is it the best hiking day for acclimatization.   This is the long day climbing where you will be ascending up to the lava tower which is the volcanic plug remain after the Kilimanjaro was volcanic. Day 3: Shira Camp to Lava Tower then to Baranco

This is the adventurous day when climbing the Kilimanjaro via Machame route where ypu will be facing the climb of the Baranco wall. Considering the distance, it is a short climb because it is just a distance of 4 Kilometers, but considering the climbing challenges it will take 4 to 5hrs climbing through the Baranco wall and the alpine desert valleys where you will be enjoying the view of the Kibo peak which will be closer, the southern glaciers and the western bridge. Reaching the Karanga camp you will have your rest collecting some energy for your next day venture. Time and distance: hiking of 4 to 5hrs a distance of 4km Elevation: 13,000ft to 13,100ft

Day 4: Baranco camp to Karanga camp

The hike will begin after your breakfast; you will be hiking through the alpine desert enjoying the stunning view of the two Kilimanjaro cones of Kibo and Mawenzi. It will be a 4 to 5hrs hike a distance of 4 Kilometers. You will be walking hitting the junction that connects with the Mweka trail and head up to the Barafu camp where you will be complete the southern circuit of the Kilimanjaro Mountain. Here you will do the camping with an early sleep and meals read for the next day complete adventure which starts in the midnight. Time and distance: hiking of 4 to 5hrs a distance of 4km Elevation: 13,100ft to 15,300ft

Day 5: Karanga camp to Barafu camp

This is the lifetime memory day of reaching the highest point of Africa, “the roof of Africa” of the Kilimanjaro Mountain. The day will begin in the midnight where you will be leaving your tents and the porters as you will be accompanied by the guides and summit porter heading to the summit point. Heading up there, it is a physical and mentally challenging hike with and extreme cold and elevation. As you will start the hike nearly the midnight, you will have a dark hike as you will need your head-lump than ever, you will hike up to the Gilman’s point where you will be amazed with a stunning sunrise from the Mawenzi cone, then you will have a short walk and finally you are there “CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE REACHED THE HIGHEST PEAK IN FRICA, THE UHURU PEAK OK KILIMANJARO MOUNTAIN”  due to the weather you will not last long here you will take some photos at the sign post of the Uhuru point and starts your descend down through the Mweka route, where you will have a stop at the Barafu camp fo

Day 6: Summit Day then descend to Mweka camp

Finally, you will be on your last day of your lifetime memory adventure, you will take your breakfast at your camp and starts your trek down up to Mweka gate, and you will be walking through wet and muddy forestry trail which requires your walking poles. At the gate you will meet our driver waiting for you where you will be picked and drive back to Moshi town for your next schedule. Time and distance: hiking of 3 to 4hrs a distance of 10km Elevation: 10,150ft to 5500ft

Day 7: Mweka camp to Mweka gate, then back to Moshi

Kilimanjaro Climb via Machame Route - 7 Days

The day will begin with a drive from Moshi town to Marangu gate, up on reaching at the gate you will have to complete the national park formalities you will then starts your hike from Marangu gate to Mandara hut which will takes you 3 to 4hrs hike a distance of 8 kilometers reaching the hut, where you will meet your chef and porters made the food and your environment ready for your meals and rest. On this day you will be walking through the rainforest where you can enjoy the view of Maundi crater and seeing the eucalyptus trees, birds and the colobus monkeys. Time & Distance: 3 to 4hrs a hiking of 8km distance Elevation: 1860m/6100ft to 2700m/8875ft

Day 1: Moshi to Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

The day will be a hike of 5 to 6hrs through the moorland forest heading to Horombo hut, which is the distance of 12 kilometers. On you hike for this day you will enjoy the view of Lobelias, groundsels and the great view of Mawenzi and the summit of Kibo, reaching to the Horombo encampment. Elevation: 2700m/8875ft to 3700m/12,200ft Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Mandara Hut to Horombo hut

For climbers via Marangu route for 6 days will have this extra day different from that of the 5 days climbers, which is a served day purposefully for adopting the altitude changes as you will be ascending to high altitude on the next day. This is to increase the success rates for to the summit up the Uhuru peak.  The day will be taking a hike up to Zebra rock and then back to Horombo hut for lunch and continue relaxing and collecting some strength for the adventure itself ahead on the next day.  You will have to walk for a distance of 5 Kilometers up from Horombo to zebra rock and back to Horombo which will takes 4hrs hike seeing some black and white rocks. Time & Distance: 4hrs a hiking of 5km distance Elevation: Zebra Rocks 4020m/Horombo Hut 3700m

Day 3: Acclimatization Day while staying at Horombo hut

The day will be of 5 to 7hrs walking through the saddle of the Kilimanjaro between the two cones of Kibo and Mawenzi. It will be walk for a distance of 9.5kilometers reaching the Kibo hut as you will be walking through the desert you will enjoy the sight of the water stream and hardly some grasses. Kibo hut will be your last ascending stop and overnight before your summit. Time & Distance: 5 to 7hrs a hiking of 9.5km distance Elevation: 3700m/12,200ft to 4700m/15,500ft

Day 4: Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

This is the day to be certified with the diploma of reaching the highest peak in Africa and the World’s highest freestanding Mountain’s peak. The day starts in the midnight leaving the Kibo hut to the summit on steep heavy scree or sometimes snow up to the Gilman’s point which is on the crater rim and from Gilman’s you take a high ascend up to the uhuru Peak “CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE REACHED THE HIGHEST PEAK IN FRICA, THE UHURU PEAK OK KILIMANJARO MOUNTAIN”  due to the weather you will not last long here you will take some photos at the sign post of the Uhuru point and starts your descend down through the Marangu route, where you will have a stop at the Kibo hut for your Lunch and trek down up to Horombo for your overnight stay and dinner. Time & Distance: 6 to 8hrs Ascending up distance of 6km and 15km descending to Horombo Elevation: 4700m/15,500ft to 5895m/19,340ft Down to 3700m/12,200ft

Day 5: Summit and descend down to Kibo then to Horombo

The day will start with your morning breakfast at Horombo and take your trek down up to Marangu gate passing through the Mandara hut. Reaching at the gate you will meet the porters already there with your luggage and the driver who will pick you from the gate to Moshi town. On you descend on this day you will be walking through the moorland and lush forest for 4 to 5hrs which is a distance of 20 Kilometers reaching the Marangu gate. Kilimanjaro Climb Via  Marangu Route 6 Days

The day will begin with a drive from Moshi town to Marangu gate, up on reaching at the gate you will have to complete the national park formalities you will then starts your hike from Marangu gate to Mandara hut which will takes you 3 to 4hrs hike a distance of 8 kilometers reaching the hut, walking through the rainforest where you can enjoy the view of Maundi crater and seeing the eucalyptus trees, birds and the colobus monkeys. The canopy overhead is alive with birdsong and strange rustlings – is that a colobus and the Mongoose might scuttle ahead of you. You’ll also meet tired hikers descending from the summit. Give them a high five for effort. You will have you lunch at Mandara hut and after replenished yourself you will walk to the Maundi Crater which is a bit challenging hike enjoying the stunning Mawenzi view on the northwest while on the east is an awe view of Taveta. After this short joyful adventure, you will trek down to Marangu gate and then being picked and drive back

Marangu Kilimanjaro Day Hike

The day start with your morning breakfast from Arusha hotel then your safari driver will pick you from your hotel with your packed lunch boxes and have the last minutes shopping in Arusha town and start your drive to Tarangire National Park. In the Tarangire National Park you will be doing and game viewing safari in an open roof safari and you will see big herd of giant elephant and big baobab trees, however you spot other animals like giraffe, lion, warthogs, antelopes and birds. Moreover, as it is a full day game drive you will have a picnic lunch in the park and finalize with your afternoon game drive and then exit the park heading to Mto wa mtu to your overnight accommodation for your dinner and overnight stay.

Day 1: Tarangire National Park

On this day of your safari, the day will begin early in the morning with your breakfast from your hotel in Mto wa Mbu and start the morning drive to the Serengeti National Park. A drive will pass you through Ngorongoro conservation area, on its rim where you will spot some animals and the Masai as they live in Ngorongoro too. You will the drive up to the Naabi hill gate where you can take your lunch and take a walk up to the hill where you can see the true meaning of the Serengeti being an endless plain. After your lunch you will do an afternoon to evening game drive heading to your lodging place according to your itinerary

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

The day will be of a game drive in the Serengeti National Park and then drive to the Ngorongoro. Your day will then start with a morning game drive and then your breakfast and continue with the game up heading to the Naabi Hill for your picnic lunch before your drive to the Ngorongoro conservation Area. During your drive you will have to see the flying balloons in the early in the morning and a good number of wild animals such as Lions, Elephants, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebra, Leopard, Cheetah, warthogs, Hyena with several bird species both migratory and non-migratory species. In Ngorongoro you will overnight at the accommodation outside the crater.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park & Ngorongoro Crater

This is your last safari day where you will do the crater ascending and descending with a fabulous game viewing in the crater with your picnic lunch in it. The day will start with your breakfast from the accommodation and take a drive up to the crater start descending down the crater of 600M to its floor. In the crater there is no hustle to see the animals as most of the animals remain within the crater where you can find the big five with no struggle. The caldera is also home to zebra, hyenas, wildebeest, hippo, and water birds. Your picnic lunch will be in the crater, and then you will take a drive after your ascent drive to Mto wa mbu for tour dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater

The day will be of visiting the lake Manyara National Park where you will be nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment that gives a picturesque of varying scenery. You will do the game in Lake Manyara and have your picnic lunch in the park. The habitat of Lake Manyara National Park supports life for variety of animal and birdlife. During the game drive you can see the tree climbing lion and other wild animals. Moreover, you will have a walk along the Lake Manyara and see the paradise of beautiful flamingoes along the lake and other birds, then find a picnic for your lunch and after lunch you will do your afternoon game drive and exit the park heading to Lake Eyasi for your cultural tour. Dinner and overnight according your safari itineraries.

Day 5: Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Eyasi is the homeland for the hunters (The Hadzabe or Tanzania Bushmen) and the Datoga and Mbulu who are livestock keepers. The famous and popular cultural tour is for the Hadzabe, who lives in the jungle where you can enjoy their unique jungle survival skills, hunting and their handmade local tools that they use in their daily life routine. Hence the day will be a walking tour in this cultural village and you can enjoy, hunting, spot fishing and local and traditional life of the people in there. You will have a hot lunch in one of the restaurants or the local lunch as per your interest and concern. After this fabulous cultural tour, you will then start your drive to Arusha/Moshi town where you will be arriving late in the evening.

6 Days Tanzania Classic Lodge Safari

Distance: 120 km Non – game viewing drive: 2 – 3 hrs. After breakfast we pick you up from your lodge in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. The drive is along Arusha town so any last minute purchase can be done on the way. Tarangire National Park is known for its large elephant population & giant baobab trees. 6000 elephants, 2,500 wildebeest & 3,000 zebra were recorded in this park. Day 1: Arusha- Tarangire National Park

Distance: 220 km Non – game viewing time: 2 – 2:30 hrs. Early breakfast then depart for Ngorongoro crater, descend over 600 meters into the crater floor for game driver. Ngorongoro crater is referred by many as an 8th wonders of the world. Supported by yearly around water supply from the highlands and fodders, the Crater supports a larger number of wildlife which includes herds of wildebeest, buffalo, eland, zebra, warthog, hippo, African elephant and the rare black rhino. Another interesting part of this wildlife sanctuary is the dense population of predators like lion, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals & the ever mysterious leopard that needs well trained eye to spot. During the game drive you will visit Lake Magadi the alkaline lake located on the southwest corner attracts a good number of flamingos, some hippos and other aquatic birds.
