Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the last refuge for the two remaining northern white rhinos, as well as a sanctuary for the endangered black rhinos. Located just three and a half hours' drive from Nairobi, the conservancy lies on the equator, nestled between the foothills of the Aberdares and the majestic snow-capped Mount Kenya. Visitors can embark on exhilarating game drives to seek out the 'BIG FIVE,' along with species such as wild dogs, hyenas, cheetahs, chimpanzees, and a variety of plains herbivores. In just one day, you can immerse yourself in an unparalleled wildlife experience.
Itinerary
Day 01: 1-Day Trip to Ol Pejeta Conservancy - Kenya tours
We will pick you up early in the morning at 6:00am at your hotel and depart for Ol Pejeta Conservancy.
Upon arrival, you will proceed for a game drive for 3 hours in different parts of the conservancy which boasts of astounding variety of animals including the non-indigenous chimpanzees and the big 5 (the endangered black rhino, leopard, elephant, buffalo and lion). After that you drive to Serena Sweet Water Lodge for lunch at extra cost. You enjoy your lunch while viewing animals that come over to the front part of the lodge to drink water. Viewing the last 2 northern white rhinos can be arranged at an extra cost.
Enjoy afternoon game drives and later depart for Nairobi in the late afternoon with unforgettable safari experience.
