Itinerary

Day 5- Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Highlands
After breakfast at the camp, set out for a morning game drive in search of big cats and other wildlife. Take in the Serengeti’s stunning landscapes—from open plains to rocky kopjes made famous by The Lion King. Around midday, your guide will set up a bush lunch before you exit the park. Enjoy the scenic drive through the Ngorongoro Highlands en route to your lodge. At Country Lodge Karatu, unwind in a peaceful garden setting. Spacious rooms feature mosquito nets, cozy fireplaces, and stone showers. The welcoming staff and locally sourced cuisine make for a comfortable and restful stay.
Day 6- Ngorongoro Crater
Begin your day with breakfast at the lodge before heading to the iconic Ngorongoro Crater—one of the world’s natural wonders. This vast caldera is home to around 25,000 animals, including the rare black rhino, lions, and more. Enjoy an exciting game drive and a scenic bush lunch with tea or coffee. After exploring the crater’s diverse landscapes, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. Unwind at Marera Valley Lodge near Karatu, surrounded by the lush beauty of the Ngorongoro highlands.
Day 7- Lake Manyara National Park- Arusha/ Kilimanjaro Aiport
As your unforgettable Tanzanian safari draws to a close, take time to organize your belongings—be sure to double-check for your passport and flight details. After breakfast at the lodge, you'll head to Lake Manyara National Park for a final game drive with a packed lunch. Famous for its tree-climbing lions, the park also offers sightings of elephants, baboons, and stunning views of the Rift Valley escarpment and the shimmering lake. After your game drive, your guide will drive you to the airport in time for your flight home.
Day 1 - Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha Planet Lodge
Welcome to the start of your safari and welcome to Tanzania! You've chosen a fantastic place for your safari journey. Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will find our driver guide holding the signboard with your name. You'll be warmly greeted by our friendly guides, who will assist you with your luggage and give you a short briefing about your tour, and transfer you to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay. You'll hardly know you're in the city while staying at Arusha Planet Lodge. Plenty of trees surround the rooms, which have balconies and colorful safari decor, and the quiet suburban location keeps traffic noise to a minimum. The onsite restaurant and bar add to the appeal of staying here while in Arusha.
Day 2- Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, proceed to Tarangire National Park for game viewing. It is a nice, quiet park in the Northern Circuit, where you will have chances to observe groups/herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, and some cats around the park, like Lions, etc. After all these, in the afternoon, your Guide will drive you to the Restaurant where you will enjoy your hot lunch. Afterward, continue with the game drive until evening, then drive to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay. The rooms at Marera Valley Lodge are like understated temples to good taste, and you'll sleep well here. Although you're close to Karatu, you're nicely removed from the main road that connects Ngorongoro Crater with Lake Manyara National Park. The well-kept lawns and swimming pool, not to mention the fine restaurant and sweeping views of the Crater Highlands, all add to the appeal of staying here.
Day 3- Karatu- Serengeti National Park
After a hearty breakfast at the lodge, depart for Serengeti via Ngorongoro, enjoying beautiful landscapes along the way. You’ll stop between the two parks to learn about the origin of the name "Serengeti." Known globally, the Serengeti is famed as the land of big cats. Joy follows a full stomach, so your guide will find a shaded spot for you to enjoy your hamper lunch before continuing with a leisurely game drive en route to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. You’ll feel part of the Serengeti wilderness the moment you step outside your tent at Tanzania Bush Camps Central. Tucked in a peaceful yet wildlife-rich corner of the park, this camp offers spacious safari tents with leather sofas and wooden chests, plus a cozy dining tent. At night, relax in bed and listen safely to the sounds of the wild around you.
Day 4- Serengeti National Park
The Serengeti is one of Africa’s top national parks, unmatched in its wildlife variety and density. Track the iconic wildebeest and zebra migration and scan the vast plains for predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, alongside elephants, giraffes, and antelopes. With luck, you might witness a hunt—an unforgettable sight. After breakfast, set off in search of big cats and the Big Five. Around midday, enjoy your hamper lunch in the bush, with wildlife often visible in the distance. The day ends with a game drive en route to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
