4x4 tour from Marrakech through southern Morocco Day 1: Marrakech - Kasbah Aït Benhaddou Departure from Marrakech aboard a comfortable 4x4 heading south via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, culminating at an altitude of 2,260 meters. You will cross impressive landscapes, between green valleys, Berber villages and steep mountains. Your first stop will be the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can admire this fortified village at sunset. Night in a traditional kasbah in Aït Benhaddou.

Days 1

Day 2: Aït Benhaddou - Dadès Gorges After breakfast, head towards Ouarzazate, then towards the famous "road of 1000 kasbahs". You will cross the Skoura palm grove before arriving in the valley of roses, where you can stop to admire the landscapes dotted with roses. Then, you will continue to the impressive Dadès gorges, with their unique rock formations. Walk in the gorges, then settle in for the night in a local riad, in the heart of this majestic valley.

Day 3: Dadès Gorges - Nkob After a morning exploring the gorges, continue south through desert landscapes and charming Berber villages. You will arrive in Nkob, a village surrounded by kasbahs and nestled at the foot of the Jebel Saghro massif. Nkob is famous for its unique panoramas between arid mountains and green oases. Days 3

Day 4: Nkob - Erg Chigaga Your adventure continues towards the vast dunes of Erg Chigaga, one of the most impressive expanses of sand in the Moroccan Sahara. You will cross desert plateaus before arriving at the golden dunes at the end of the day. After a camel ride to enjoy the sunset, settle into a traditional bivouac under the stars. Night at camp in the middle of the dunes, an unforgettable experience.

Day 5: Erg Chigaga - Marrakech After waking up in the desert and breakfast at the camp, you will take the road again through the Saharan landscapes towards Foum Zguid. You will pass through Taznakht, famous for its Berber carpets, before going up to Marrakech via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Return to Marrakech at the end of the day with a head full of memories of this incredible 4x4 adventure through southern Morocco. You will visit the collective granary of Sidi Moussa, located on a hill, before continuing through villages like Aït Imi and Timit, where you can observe local agricultural techniques. Day 3: Aït Imi – Col de Tizi n’Aït Imi – Tighremt n’Aït Ahmed - Distance: 15-16 km, approximately 6-7 hours of walking - Elevation difference: 900 m / -700 m You start the day with an ascent towards the Tizi n'Aït Imi pass (2900 m). This passage offers you a spectacular view of the Vallée Heureuse and the surrounding mountains. The descent then takes you to Tighremt n'Aït Ahmed, an isolated and traditional village where you will spend the night in a tent or with a local.

Day 4: Tighremt n’Aït Ahmed – Source of Aïn Aflafal – Distance: 14 km, approximately 6 hours of walking After breakfast, you continue the hike towards the source of Aïn Aflafal. This stage crosses high mountain pastures, often used by nomads with their herds. Arrival at the source in the afternoon, setting up the bivouac near this high altitude oasis. Night in tent.

Day 5: Aïn Aflafal – Tarkeddid Plateau – M'Goun base camp - Distance: 12-15 km, approximately 7 hours of walking - Elevation difference: 800 m This day is marked by a regular climb towards the Tarkeddid plateau, located at more than 3,000 meters above sea level. You cross desert and mineral landscapes while enjoying the view of the surrounding peaks. You arrive at the M’Goun base camp at the end of the day, where you will spend the night in a tent.

Day 6: Ascent of M'Goun (4071 m) - Descent to Oulilimte - Distance: 10-12 km, approximately 8-9 hours of walking - Elevation difference: 1,100 m / -1,200 m One of the highlights of this hike is the ascent of Djebel M'Goun, culminating at 4071 meters. You leave early in the morning to reach the summit and enjoy panoramic views of the entire High Atlas range. After a while at the summit, you go back down to Oulilimte to set up camp. Night in tent.

Day 7: Oulilimte – Ouzighimt Valley – Return to Aït Bouguemez - Distance: 10-15 km, approximately 6-7 hours of walking The hike continues with a descent into the Ouzighimt valley. You pass through isolated villages and green landscapes before reaching the Happy Valley. Day 1: Imlil – Tamsoulte – Night at the Tamsoulte Refuge The trek begins in Imlil, a Berber village at 1740 meters above sea level, where you will meet your guide and your team of mule drivers. You will take a path that crosses orchards and walnut forests, towards the Tizi Mzik pass (2489 meters). From the pass, you will enjoy panoramic views of the Imlil Valley and the surrounding mountains. After a descent into the Azzaden valley, the path takes you to the Tamsoulte waterfalls, the highest in the region. Then, you will reach the Tamsoulte refuge (2250 meters) to spend the night there, surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains.

Day 2: Tamsoulte – Refuge du Toubkal (3200 m) The next day, after an early breakfast, you will begin the ascent to the Tizi Aguelzim pass (3560 meters), a gradual but demanding climb offering breathtaking views of the range of the Atlas. Along the way, you will have moments of pause to admire the arid and majestic landscapes. After crossing the pass, you will descend to the Toubkal refuge (3200 meters), starting point for the ascent to the summit. The night is spent at the refuge, where you will rest in preparation for the big challenge the next day.

Day 3: Ascent to the summit of Toubkal (4167 m) – Return to Imlil – Marrakech Early in the morning, around 4 or 5 a.m., you will begin the climb to the summit of Toubkal. The trail is steep and rocky, but the reward is worth the effort. Once at the summit, you will be greeted by a 360° panoramic view of the High Atlas Mountains, the Sahara in the distance and, sometimes, the snow-capped peaks. After a moment of contemplation and pride, you will go back down to the refuge for a well-deserved meal, then continue the descent to Imlil. At the end of the day, a transfer will take you back to Marrakech, where this exceptional adventure ends. Day 2: Imlil – Toubkal Refuge (3,207 m) Your adventure truly begins today. You leave early for a gradual climb through Berber villages. The trail winds through orchards, streams and cultivated terraces. Passing through Sidi Chamharouch, a sacred place for the locals, you will reach the Toubkal refuge after about 5-6 hours of walking. You will spend the night at the refuge, at an impressive altitude, with grandiose views of the mountains.

Ascent of Toubkal (4,167 m) The most anticipated day is here! You leave early to avoid the heat of the day. Climbing Toubkal is a challenge, but it remains accessible to well-prepared hikers. The path is rocky and sometimes steep, but each step brings you closer to the summit. Once at the summit, at 4,167 m, you will be rewarded with panoramic views of the Atlas range, the Haouz plains and even the distant Sahara desert. After a well-deserved break at the summit, you will descend to the refuge for a second night.

Day 4: Toubkal Refuge – Azzaden After the effort of the ascent, today you begin a gentler descent towards the magnificent Azzaden valley. The road crosses passes and ridges, offering incredible views of the surrounding mountains and isolated Berber villages. At the end of the day, you reach a picturesque village where you will spend the night in a traditional lodge, surrounded by wild nature and the warmth of the locals.

Day 5: Azzaden – Tizi Oussem – Return to Imlil For this last day, you continue your walk in the Azzaden valley before passing through the Tizi Mzik pass (2,489 m). From there, you will begin the descent towards Imlil, with breathtaking views of the valley and its impressive landscapes. When you arrive in Imlil, you can celebrate the end of your adventure with a well-deserved lunch before heading back to Marrakech.
